Basically an externsion of some of the other lists posted to 2k. There really isnt a whole lot of variance to these units except for the BCs and PKs in number. I agree with past players that nine will be the magic number.

This is a little different. Not sure how I feel about the smaller nob unit, but I am liking the idea of fast slugga boys in a truck. Its cheap, and if it diverts attacks then it gets the two big units in. If not,t hen that is 50 some attacks in a unit on the flank. Not sure though.

I also thought of doing list two but with warbuggies riding along instead of truck boys. I might use deffcoptas when they come out in the new set too.

I think you're missing a couple hundred points in the second one. I feel like adding in a couple of trukk squads is a good way to make you less likely to be throttled, but I think all nobs is tougher. Your opponent is pretty much hosed unless he brings tons of low ap or high strength weapons (which everyone is moving away from).

Nah I just double checked the math and it is 1997. I know what you mean though it does feel a lot lighter even though its only down three nobs and up 12 little boys.

Im totally torn so its good to hear you lean one way. Hopefully more people will chime in with their 2.

EDIT: I was missing a unit of 9 nobs. I was doing the math in my head without looking really closely at the list.

i like the first list better. if i were you i would only run two squads of nobs. one squad of war bikers. then scap the rest and take 5 or six deffcoptas with TL rokkits. the deffcopters will make it more well rounded and keep you from getting completey own by mec tau and mec eldar armies.

Good idea. I think I will do that when the new black reach set comes out. Twin linked rokkits will be a good counter to the flachettes Im sure the tau players will take when they play me once.

I dunno about getting owned by mech eldar and tau, 12 inch move + 6 inch charge seems pretty good for cornering grav tanks. That said, I haven't been playing much recently so I'm not sure.
