"All models in the Painboy's unit mayhave
-cybork bodies..."

I think the argument of the word "may" has been brought up before.

Using the words "all models" could be used to include the painboy himself rather than just nobs. Or "may" could mean the usual assumption of being ones choice to do so.

Does this mean all models MUST have cyborks bodies or none at all or can I pick which ones specifically will need it.

There's a certain greyness to it, which is why these sorts of issues get debated so frequently.

Technically, 'all may' simply grants permission to them all. It doesn't impose an 'all or nothing' restriction on them. 'All may' and 'Any may' actually mean the same thing.

However, within GW's rules, 'all may' is generally taken as 'all or nothing' while 'any may' is taken as allowing any number of them to do so.

That's going by how it's generally played, and how it's generally (from memory pretty consistently) been ruled in past FAQs dealing with 'All may...' type rules entries.
