Well, I figure I should get my model up for the firing line ^_^.
I did a lot of different things with this guy. Lots of wash use to really get a good handle on what they're capable of. Have to say, I'm rather impressed with them. They work SO much better than the old inks did. And have more applications! Some things of note are the chest piece was done by painting solid boltgun and then washing badab black about 6 heavy coats and painting chips in the paint with boltgun again. Gryphonne Sepia works on so many colors it's one of my new favorite colors. The coat was highlighted up to a light fortress grey and then washed back down using normal a normal chaos black to help the transitions smooth out some. It's still a bit rough but not as bad as it was before the wash.
Overall a fun and fast model. Really glad to finally have some paint on this guy. He's been sitting in my cases unpainted for years. A big thanks to all of those who voted for him ^_^!
Now, what do you guys all think??
