There you go. A Blood Pact army using Codex: Daemonhunters.
Why Codex: Daemonhunters?
Blood Pact is really an elite army. I know, there's plenty of ways to get the theme across using Codex:Imperial Guard, but there are no rules in there that really represent the truly "chaotic" aspects of the Blood Pact. Daemonhosts, "Inquisitors" (more like one of Gaur's field generals, or a Chaos Space Marine sent to observe) and an odd blend of tanks seem, to me, to describe the Pact better than just "an IG army with lots of little spiky bits."
Why the Inquisitor?
The Inquisitor Lord is supposed to represent one of many power-armored pseudo-chaos space marines under Urlock Gaur's command. Since Dan Abnett is never clear whether Urlock Guar (the Blood Pact's leader) wears power armor because he's privileged to own some, or because he's a fallen marine, I figure I can take liberties with it. The warrior servitors will doubtless be a "counts as" thing - some wretched xeno monstrosity or something, modeled appropriately. Dunno.
Do you think it'll work? Honestly?
No idea. That's where you all come in.
For tactics, the idea would be to spread out and take as much territory as possible, winning by attrition as my opponent fails to kill everything. It's an IG army that wants to get in close, say around 12", with a couple of long-range and close-combat options.
Are you really going to make this?
Maybe. I've been asked to make more vehicles, because apparently people like the way mine look. Right now, I'm just throwing it out there to see what sort of response I get.
This looks like Stelek's GT WH Army.
No it doesn't. Not at all. Though his army is very amusing and unique, and I will give a nod of inspiration in his direction.
