Some of you may already know about this item since it isn't exactly a new product, but for those that don't allow me to introduce you to the JLC Saw.

I first saw this thing a couple years ago at an IPMS show and my dad immediately bought one right there. I thought "Meh, I've got my jewler's saw. What do I need that thing for?" Well, my dad's been raving about it ever since and he finally bought me one as a present. To put it plainly, the thing rocks. The blade is paper thin but it's fairly rigid and the way that it's held in the handle helps to keep it straight as you saw.

The thing looks awkward but it really does work like a champ. The pieces that are cut apart have virtually no space lost to blade width which is awesome for lazy modelers like me who hate to fill in gaps later. The package I got comes with the handle and two double sided blades for under 20 bucks (USA).

My internet-fu is weak this morning so I'm unable to find JLC's home page (if they have one), but it looks like googling "JLC saw" will get you to some re-sellers.
