I recently purchased 6 warriors to add to a typical MC/stealer list. With v5 rules, the deathspitter seems to be an effective choice for the unit. With decent shooting range and hth plus synapse seems like a good support unit.
Warrior w/ toxin sacs, deathspitter, scytals @31 points
The 3" blast scattering seems managable when it comes with six shots. Anyone out there with experience using this in game please advise. Thanks.

its great if you face a lot if infantry and/or light vehicles. I use 2 squads of 5 with one havign a strangler in my shooty list right now and they perform pretty good. People are usually too focused on the tyrant and the fex's to shoot them.

I played last night against a Nurgle Daemon army and had one unit of Tyranid warriors with toxin sacs and 5 death spiters and on barbed strangler. The did great. The only down side was he had 5+ inv. save and feel no pain that was boosted up to working on a 3+. The warriors still put out a lot of hits each turn. I'm usint all my warriors this way now. -K

It depends if you plan to use your warriors for synapse purposes. If they're keeping up with your gaunts, they have to be running, and if they're running, it's a waste of a shooty warrior.

No gaunts, mostly stealers, so they are not there for synapse so much. But I am leaning towards adding ripper swarms.
Korthu, that is the type of squad I'm talking about. Did your warriors have to fight hth at all or were you able to keep them at range?
