I have 2 baneblades for my apoc games primed black and I want to paint them WWII panzer style dark steel grey. What is the easiest way to accomplish this with a paint brush? Ink? Drybrush? Both? Looking for help. Thanks.

A quick way to get the color you're looking for is with the foundation paint Adeptus Battlegrey. I used this, followed by a wash of black ink and subsequent drybrush of Codex Gray for my FoW German tanks and it looks great.

Check out the Tamiya range of paints. They will cover nearly all of your bases when it comes to WW2 inspired schemes. There is a classic grey scheme that the Wermacht used across their vehicles, which I think you may have in mind.

If you are painting many tanks (as I am) type in ''Tony Greenland'' to Amazon.com. He has produced the definitive bible on painting german WW2 vehicles, and it is incredibly inspiring. He is an outstanding painter and modeller, and his instructions are excellent. It is well worth the money. I have it close to hand, but my posessions are still in boxes due to a recently moved house! Apologies for being vague, but these search hints should see you through. It's a hardback, you can't miss it.

All the best.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

Testors also makes a color called ero-gray I. I think it was the true "panzer-gray" your thinking of. (I think they changed the name to be more pollitically correct) That color does come in spray form as well as in a regular bottle. It's enamel based only I think.
