I hope Adam posts a revised funding stat, after the pledge manager goes live - would be interesting to see, if the possibility of adding to the pledge will be significant.

Cheers!

New update from Poots himself. There are a lot of really great images in the update, but I'll skip to the most surprising one, and let someone fill in the rest for now.

For those not in the know, KD had a failed kickstarter in the past for an iPhone game. Perhaps Poots is thinking of reviving that project. Which would be pretty damn cool, so long as it were also available on platforms outside of Apple.

And that's a big part of why this Kickstarter was so successful - in many ways, it is the only way to get any of Adam's miniatures!

Well, here's hoping that since backers can add more money, he'll allow stragglers who missed the boat or had to withdraw because of a lack of funds (ie me) to be able to joint the party late. I'm gutted I had to withdraw.

So I got the email this morning for the Beta Pledge Manager.

I want to add money and confirm my order, but I'm having issues with the pledge manager correctly taking my address. It's very odd, as it's completely changing my street address and zip code.

However, with that being said the pledge manager looks very nice, so far. I'm not sure if you can add multiple of a single item (it doesn't appear so) but the PM is easy to use and well laid out.

I too got the beta, and like you I couldn't find the option to add multiples of any product! Well except adding another survivor boxed set.

Make sure you let them know!

Found this one the KS comments page:

My feedback for the Pledge Manager:

Hi Anna,

Thank you for sending me a request to be part of the initial run of the Pledge Manager Beta.

1. When clicking the ‘Check & Confirm Address’ it pops up with the message below:
The pink box only shows City and Country. Is this as designed? Should it show the whole address I have entered?
2. Allison the Twilight Knight Plastic is a Promo figure but appears in the Pinups section. Should appear in the Kickstarter Specials section along with the other Promo figures.
3. Typo on Regeneration Suit Resin:
4. Spider Silk Assassin Pinup Resin $25 is missing from the Resin section.
5. Twilight Witch Pinup Resin $25 is missing from the Resin section.
6. T-Shirt $25 is missing from the Kickstarter Specials section.
7. Beta Survivor Special Add On $100 is missing from the Kickstarter Specials section.

Generally it looks great, brings up your original Pledge total, shipping and Pledge option. And when you add more than your Pledge total is goes red and allows you to go to Paypal to add more. Awesome!

Don't know if that's the best place to post them, or if they've asked you to report them elsewhere...

I don't know if I was really "asked" to point them anywhere; I simply sent them straight to Anna.

Like I said, overall it looks solid. I'm not super concerned about typos like he is, but more functionality. Now that I know I'm supposed to try and break it, I'll put on my product design/tester cap and go wreck it like Ralph.

Yeah, I just did the pledge manager as well and sent my feedback to Anna from the KS message system.

Biggest issue, confirmation page and email only can fit a fixed amount (and as I ordered heaps... you cannot tell what you actually ordered or if it cut off).

Other than that (and the points above) and the really odd address issue... it's not bad.

Hopefully the bugs will be ironed out... wonder what the impact being in Beta will be (I am still proud to be the 3rd backer! )

Yeah, my address still isn't updating correctly. Anna sent me an email saying she fixed it, so maybe I just have to wait for an update.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
In other news, I was able to snag some lineups in the KD restock.

I'm torn right now between getting resin pin ups or plastic ones from the KS. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Depends on what you're getting them for!

Game with - plastic.

Collect/paint - resin.

:-/. Based on that it seems like I should get them in resin. Humbug. I saw the comparison pics and, aside from being a bit smaller, the plastic one still had great detail. Obviously places it was lacking were in the face (doh) and the straps on her legs (less doh).

Decisions decisions.

Heya guys!

Anna is still working out the kinks / bugs in the pledge manager. Thus far we have had a high % of confirmed rewards that have had no issues too!

Right now the pledge manager DOES let you add multiples of a single rewards. But perhaps this is my fault in interface design for not making it more clear. Right now you need to update the quantity box that sits next to each item in the cart view on the left of the screen.

I also want to apologize for not being able to keep the general releases in stock. I've got the caster pretty much maxed out, but we will continue to restock until we have met the demand. It's just not a fast process.

Thanks for the update!

Needless to say, I'm eagerly awaiting my invitation to the Pledge Manager.

My initial investment was... quite large. I'm curious to see if I end up adding even more to it!

I'm not having any luck with the pledge manager at all. Sending emails to Anna. Hopefully she can figure it out.

Okay. Apparently the issue is that the web site does not like IE9 at all. So, I went and got Firefox to test and it worked fine.

I am having some serious issues deciding what to get.

Someone remind me: all of the messengers are Kickstarter Only, correct? Or will they be available later on?

I'm having the damnedest time deciding on the Pin Ups I want as well. Which to get? Resin or Plastic? I'd wait, but I know later on they're going to be an absolute pain in the butt to get.

I need my dakka-pals to help me out here. Recommendations on which pin ups? Should I get the male messengers? AHHCKK!

I can't remember if all of the 'specials' will be limited, but certainly some will be, so since I'll hopefully have to fill this thing out myself soon, without further ado, the research says:

And in doing so have unlocked the Messenger of Humanity, a promotional miniature that will only be available thru this kickstarter and future Kingdom Death special events!

We have unlocked the Messenger of The First Story, a promotional miniature that will only be available thru this kickstarter and future Kingdom Death special events!

Kara will be available through this kickstarter and in the future be available in a limited fashion for various promotions.

We have unlocked the Messenger of The Spiral Path, a promotional miniature that will only be available thru this kickstarter and future Kingdom Death special events!

We have unlocked the Messenger of Courage, a promotional miniature that will only be available thru this kickstarter and future Kingdom Death special events!

Survivor Candy & Cola is based on Soda Pop Miniature's Candy & Cola and she appears in both of their two games. ( Super Dungeon Explore and Relic Knights ) The Survivor version was designed by myself and Lokman and is being sculpted by a Kingdom Death sculptor. She will be available through this kickstarter and in the future be available in a limited fashion for various promotions.

I think that's all of the "Get them now or have a hard time getting them later - or pay a LOT of them if you even can!" miniatures.

I'd say get all of them, and then as for Pinups, well, whatever ones tickle you fancy, so to speak.

You've seen how hard it is to ever get anything from his webstore, so if there's something you really, really want - now's the time!

This really sums up my anxiety. I don't want to have to fight to get anything later on.

Ugh. Never has it been so stressful picking out things I've already purchased.
