GW makes a grotesque model. You should buy and use the official models. Also be sure to assemble them in the official way (see the pictures on the box or the official website http://www.games-workshop.com if you are unsure). If enough people do not buy the official model, who knows what will happen? GW may decide to start axing rules for the units that they do make models for too.
You forgot to mention he should use the official glue to assemble the official model...
You can get glue from other sources than http://www.games-workshop.com? This is news to me!

I think no DE player leaves home without 2-3units of scourges and at least 2 units of bikes because this things seem to be best units in codex ,sadly not because of buffs ,but fact that they're cheap.
Also ,it sucks that we need to take 5 wracks ,I already planned filling elites with units of 3 of them with ossefractor in venom.

So I had my first match with the new Codex tonight vs a Blood Angel Meph list with two Stormravens. I tabled him turn five except for one Stormraven and and one Sternguard. I used 4x Wyches in Venoms and they did fine. My MVP though was my Reavers which simply massacred him. That rending HoW combined with Hit and Run to maximize its use is superb.

Great to hear! Although, it was against Blood Angels, which doesn't say much for power level.

I might put the coven and How to Paint DE guides on my xmas/ birthday list if they contain interesting background and art work. So would be grateful if anybody can post a quick appraisal.
But if they had put all three books into the codex for £40 i would have bought it (admittedly while wincing a litttle). 'Having' to buy these extras puts me in a frame of mind that disinclines me to make large spur of the moment purchases.

Best of luck with the new book then everyone.
Any further releases can have their own thread.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
