hi guys, ive jus been wondering what do you think of this army i have been building for about a year now, almost done, looking for improvements/changes

HQ
command platoon
IG Command Squad
Heroic Senior Officer with Power Fist and mastercrafted Plasma Pistol, Carapace Armor
4 guardsmen- one with grenade launcher, one with master vox
1 Commissar with power sword and bolt pistol
1 sanctioned psyker
then i was thinking of putting them all in a chimera
1 fire support squad w/ heavy bolters

1 antitank squad w/ lascannons

1 sentinel support squad/ lascannon and two multilasers

then i was thinking either a special weapons support squad with snipers or another fire support squad with autocannons or heavy bolters

Inquisitor Lord with Artificer Armour, mastercrafted Needle pistol, and Force Weapon
1 Warrior- Veteran Guardsmen with grenade launcher
1 warrior- gun servitor with heavy bolter
1 heirophant
2 sages
all in a Land Raider

Elites
2 Techpriest enginseers (1 elite choice) all with 3 technical servitors and 1 gun servitor w/ heavy bolter, and both in chimeras

1 Grey knight terminator squad with psycannon

then i was thinking of either getting an Ogryn squad or a ratling squad

Troops

1 Infantry platoon
Command Squad
Junior Officer with mastercrafted bolt pistol and power sword
4 guardsmen- one with voxcaster and one with a grenade launcher
1 Commissar with Plasma pistol and power sword
1 sanctioned psyker
5 full infantry squads- each with at least one of each special weapon and at least one of each heavy weapon minus mortars

then i have another infantry platoon thats pretty much identical to the one above, but i think the commissar and the officer have different weapons, and also some of the sargeants are upgraded with bolt pistols

1 Inquisitorial Stormtrooper squad, i love cheating the system
with one plasma gun and one grenade launcher
veteran sarge with boltpistol and powersword
all in a chimera

then i was thinking about getting either another inquisitorial stormtroopers squad, or a regular Grey Knights squad, or maybe an armoured fist squad

FAST ATTACK
1 hellhound
1 sentinel squad with a multilaser, lascannon and autocannon

then i was thinking of getting another sentinel squad

HEAVY SUPPORT
1 Leman Russ with 2 heavy bolters, lascannon, heavy stubber

1 basilisk

1 leman russ demolisher with lascannon, 2 plasma cannons, heavy stubbers

then i was thinking of getting a leman russ exterminator to use interchangeably

basically all my vehicles are upgraded with hunterkiller missiles and heavy stubbers if they can be

o and im defintely getting a baneblade

so thats about it, ill post pics when im done with all of them, and when i paint them

naturally i hardly field my WHOLE army, but when i do its a friggin amazing game, because its usually with people with equally huge armies and it is jus epic

Well, you are all over the place is the problem.

Why don't you post an actual list (and not just your models) so we can critique it properly.

If you edit the post to include pictures, this could be a decent modeling thread.

The thing about the army list forum is that it's very focussed on people interested in improving their list. It is very hard to give advice to someone who is happy just to play with whatever pieces they like the look of, regardless of whether they are considered to be "good" by competitive or semi-competitive players. Keeping this in mind, I am afraid you will be disappointed with the response you get. However, as I personally like to repeat, if you're in a situation where you are happily playing games with a decent group and beautiful pieces, caring neither for the rules or codices nor any way of playing or list selection intended to attempt to gain an advantage - then you're probably pretty lucky. The sculpts have always been the best thing about GW and it's good that there are people out there who just like to collect and model.
