i like the treemonic legion a lot, but it'll be hard to play so be warry, all of your combat res is gonna have to come from flanks and kills. solid build here so have fun trying to make it work

I don't think you can have more then one Cluster of Radiants in the army.

I know he's not a forest spirit but a BSB would really help your stubborn treemen and you can give him a magic bow and hail of doom arrow.

Also your one point over.

I don't think Branch Nymph's or Eldars are worth it because they allow your opponent to challenge which can be really bad if your attacking an character since you don't have ranks. you should just run more Dryads instead.

Its a Local Gaming group so one pt isnt a bit deal at all, not for use at a tourney.

Honestly, I would cut one of the Branchwraiths (the illegal one with the extra cluster) and boost both your treekin units to 4. And I agree about getting rid of the champions in the Dryads and Treekin units. Remove them, work some points around, and you might be able to get another dryad squad, which I think you will need.

Nice start though, I love me some forest spirits.

Edit: I just noticed, your Treekin point cost does not include the elder upgrade.
Edit 2: Sorry, but I don't have my book on me. Doesn't Drycha already have Clusters? If so, another BW cannot take them as well.

Yes, Drycha has two clusters and the blight of terrors, so you can't take either of those Spites with her in your army. (She has a special rule that allows her to have two clusters.)

Yah, I'd drop a Branchwraith for more dryads and drop the unit champs on the dryads. You only have 42 models in the army, a big turn of shooting or magic missiles (which is what you need to fear the most) could leave you in a real world of hurt. Freeing up more points for dryads gives you more staying power and more pop. Also, having more targets means less effective shooting/magic.

A good list, one that looks fun to play with/against, but I'd try and add more dryads.

OK, came up with a new one, droped the spites all together on the BW's and changed from 2 units of 3 Tree Kin to one of 4.

Yeah, liking this one a lot better. I think any changes from this point would be more about personal preference, not necessarily competitive edge.

fun idea. i was thinking about making a tree spirit army too. but why the cavalry? sure they're sueful, but it's the one & only unit that are out of theme. if you dropped them you could get another unit of treekinand be pure on the theme. bit slower than cav, but good save, many wounds, will hold, etc.

Wild Riders are forest spirits, or at least they use that rule.
