My principal army is imperial Cannon Fodder (sorry, Guard), along with detachments of Sisters of Battle & Necrons.
I have a smal hive of tyranids for random enemies to batte with, but I'm probably going to bin the plastic models & keep the metal carnifexes for painting projects once I've stripped them back).
I also have some Dark Angels & Grey Knights for occasional allied support, as it tends to annoy people expecting to face an army not that great in hand-to-hand when several assault marines turn up, or some GK termies teleport in.
Basically I like to have a wide variety of units to pick & choose from for the Imperials, and the Necrons are just nice & easy to paint up & aren't so fiddly to detail when I just feel like painting for the sake of painting (usually whilst my girlfriends watches terrible TV programmes such as 'Coronation Streeet' & 'Eastenders).

I have found gaunts and stealers to be excellent Corry fodder! However, during big brother I have found magnetizing Carnifexes to be the only task capable of blocking out the horror...
