Need help putting together a solid 1500 list using *these* models:

I have:

15 Swordmasters
25 Spearmen/Seaguard with Full Command
20 Phoenix Guard with Full Command
20 Archers
3 RBT
1 Noble with GW BSB
1 Noble with GW Bow
2 Mages on foot
1 Dragon Mage/Noble
1 Caradryan

ok so i would do something like this.

Heroes

noble
white sword, enchaned sheild, heavy armour

mage level 2
scroll
ring of corrin

mage level 2

CORE

Archers X 10

Archers X 10

Spearen X15 (sentinel, standard bearer)

SPECIAL

Swormasters X 5

phoenix guard X 15 (full comand with lion standard and an amulet of light if ur going to fight undead or a gem of courage, or a dragon horn

What would be the plan here with this list?

well i would use the archers/RBTs to cover the swordmasters as they move up the flanks. in a perfect world your enemy would chartge your spearmen/phoenix guard that are sitting in the middle. those units should be able to thold put the noble in a unit of swormasters and they become quite deadly. hoefully it will deter tyour opponet from charging them. i really likre the magic phase of the game and high elves do it so well...i would try and cast defensive spells on your units so they can hold. esentially you want the enemy to charge your rock hard center while you pepper them with arrows and bring ther magic down on them....why i would take a n archmage=far better for offensive spells. thats what i would start with..of course you have to adapt every strategy to fit the situatrion.

Here is 1500 points. I would really suggest dropping the Sword Masters and 1 Phoenix Guard for 2 sets of 5 Dragon Princes with banners and musicians. For 2000 points just throw Teclis and 5 phoenix guard in.
