It went against almost every bone in my body to make this list, but hell, it's the ArdBoyz.
DP, Mark of Slaanesh, Lash

3 Oblits
Total: 2499
Termis deep-strike, PMs jack their rides and don't pop out unless they have to. The personal icon is there cause I had 5 points left over. Lash + Oblits is nasty enough. It should have enough firepower to take out at least a Land Raider a turn if need be, perhaps two if I get lucky. Princes will use cover and the LRs to block LOS except to their targets. Eldar councils will still wreck it, but should do at least decent against the Ork Nob Biker squad. Not much Chaos can do against either of these lists anyway, IMHO.

Its a pretty small force, but that's the price you pay for three Land Raiders. However, 9 Obliterators and 3 LRs are rather scary. And you have a plan for keeping the PMs alive. Go for it. Good luck!

Looks like an interesting list, I don't personally know how my Ard boyz list would deal with 14 lascannons. 3 LR's sure, but not 14 lascannons. Just remember the PM's have to go in the LR's during the game, can't start in them, ect. I think your only problem is a Dawn of War game, where a lucky/good player who gets first turn can manage a first turn charge/raping of your squad+Lash guy out. Otherwise, looks rather solid.

That's rather unlikely. The first round is night fight, and the enemy is 18'' away. Deployment here is key.

More a Charging fear. I've gotten just in combat with my 15 man squad from a LRC... three times now, in Dawn of War.

Well, for Dawn of War, I keep everything in reserve. When the PMs arrive, they'll walk forward 6 and get in the Raiders, which then and only then take off.
As for not enough troops to handle objectives, the general idea is take one and contest the others, or at least remove your opponent's ability to take them. Between my firepower and Lash, and the general improvement in survivability of Land Raiders, I should be able to park one squad on my objective and get the other Raiders to my opponent's, or at least enough to contest it.
In any case, I just noticed that the finals are November 14th, which I can't go to - I'll be at a geophysics conference in Las Vegas that day! Ah well, I can still try to win the first few rounds.

Lash and armor 14 is great against virtually every army not named Eldar. A simple Runes of Warding makes all those Lash tests roll 3d6 and add them together. Any failure and you take a wound. Eldar Brightlances and Fire Dragons in Wave Serpents can make short work of Land Raiders and in 2500pts there is plenty of room for the Eldar player to get all of this stuff in.
The problem is the Eldar need to take those tank busting units to pop even Predators. Since there is almost no other options for them you can expect to see those units. Eldar also scale up pretty well.
Now if you don't expect to see a lot of Eldar in the early rounds, by all means gve a whirl.

Agreed, Eldar (and Dark Eldar) will be the most nasty foes for this list, as they are most likely to pack the tools they need to take it down as a matter of course. There are a few armies out there that I just get boned by. For those, I'll need to play very carefully and possibly for a draw. But there are a lot of armies out there that can't stand up to the army, even at 2500. It's not an "I win" list by any means, but it's one of the more broken lists Chaos can have, I think you'll agree. Maybe replacing the LRs for more PMs and possibly NMs, but that's about it.

Wow, very small list
If anything drop one set of the three and run something in rhinos. That way you have a few more tanks on the board to block True LOS.
3 Chaos Terminators, 2 combi-plasma, heavy flamer
Land Raider transport, Daemonic Possession
6 Plague Marines, 2 meltas
Get some basic marines and rhino for the other two units.
That way your Oblits can take the four plus save from troops in the way. Then you can use the rhinos to block true los for a four plus on your LR. Your going to see a lot of DL for DE but they are squad based and are not mobile. You can easily block los for the four plus against them while you roll up on them. Eldar well, driver your LR backwards so that you can exit out the front which is the rear. That way you dont have to worry about have your termies die. Then move around the side and assault the Fire Warriors. I myself have never played like this, but I just thought it up..
