this comes to 1871..

i need suggestions on what i should take to fill it out, and or remove to make more room for things i really need. I really like the seer council on bikes ive had alot of good luck with them even tho they cost so much, any ideas on what i should replace them with if i do take em out. (i actually took the time to make 5 warlocks on jetbikes plus the farseer so lol id hate to not use them after actually converting them.

note- i wasnt really thinking of missions in mind when playing this just a total battle royal with casual buddies, i guess some competative critique would help as well. any and all comments are welcome.

You need to check your point costs. I'm getting 450 for your seer council and 297 for your dire avengers.

What your plan for Eldrad? Is he riding with an avenger squad or hanging back with the reapers?

I think this is shaping up to be a pretty good list. To strengthen it you can add additional warlocks to the seer council, and remember that it's not required that each warlock be given a power. I would also drop runes of witnessing from the farseer: embolden already allows you to reroll a failed psychic test, and that by itself gives you a 99.3% chance of success. That's good enough!

Dark reapers are pretty good, and the dark reaper exarch is very deadly, but I'm not sure the reapers really fit in this list. Your opponent will be faced with shooting at tanks, a nigh-invincible seer council and the reapers, so you can expect that most of his anti-infantry guns will be aimed at the reapers. You might want to consider dropping them for another prism.

Some units to consider adding:

1. An additional dire avenger squad with wave serpent. This would give you another bright lance for tank hunting, another skimmer for contesting objectives, and another troop choice for holding objectives.

2. Fire dragons in a wave serpent or falcon. The addition of this unit would prepare your army for facing just about any kind of mech list, it will help you deal with terminators, plague marines and the like, and if the exarch has a dragon breath flamer, it has some anti-horde potential as well.

3. Banshees or harlequins in a serpent or falcon. The seer council is vicious, but they can get stuck in combat and overwhelmed if faced with having to deal a lot of wounds to opponents with good armor saves. An additional assault unit can help them out.

Personally I favor options 1 and 2 over option 3, but YMMV.

In this list Eldrad would support one of the avenger units. I left him in because you have him in your list, but actually, as good as Eldrad is, I would probably drop him to buy another prism and add another couple of warlocks to the seer council. The main support the avengers need is doom, and you can already cast doom with your bike seer, so I don't see Eldrad living up to his full potential in a mech list like this.

Why is everyone take Eldrad?
I am an Eldar player and i follow ulthwe strickly. i have a problem if you take eldrad and not follow the ulthwe style army and tactics (not too strick but no guardians!), im sorry but i hate the list.
but thats just my opinion

yes your right i hit the 2 on keypad on accident when going for the 0 and didnt catch it.
the dire avengers i guess i just typed there points cost wrong. either way i think its all still the same points total gain 20 on the seer squad lose it back to the DA's


Also duh the RoWit i should drop i wasnt even thinking about that.

the only thing holding me back from more fire prisms, and more wave serpents is that i dont own them, i own 2 falcons and a wave serpent and ive been having to proxy them in friendly games so i can figure out what works right for me.

also if i drop eldrad and get another prism do you think i should also take another farseer and beef up the jetlock squad a little?

squig herder, im sorry you "hate" my list maybe in the next life time you will just merely dislike it. And maybe ill be born an ulthwithe nazi such as your self heil eldrad. =)

wuestenfux -yeah i know you typically ahve to have 2 i just dont own em yet, and 90$ is alot to go drop to play test and not like em but ill try a few games with 2 of them proxied and see how it goes thanks for the input and suggestion.
