Want to make sure I have this right, cause as I understand it, it's possible to cause a unit multiple fall back moves in a turn. Really curious as it did come up recently.

pg 44 - Casualties "A unit losing 25% or more of its models during a single phase must passa Morale check at the end of that phase, or else it will fall back."

pg 44 - Tank Shock "If a tank reaches an enemy unit's position then the unit must take a Morale check to see whether or not if falls back."

pg 46 - Morale While Falling Back "Troops who are falling back automatically fail all Morale checks, except those to regroup."

Situation that happened, opponent DS'd nearby, hit terrain, and rolled badly losing enough to have to make a Morale check. Failed and started to fall back. Now, when my turn comes around I find that they're in range for a tank shock in the movement phase, which they will automatically fail per the rule on Morale while falling back, then during the shooting phase I hit them with enough to drop 25% of their current casualties, making them fall back again. If I'm reading this right, this means 3 fall back moves before they even have a chance to regroup on the first turn they start on the board. And if it's a fast choice (bikes, jetbikes, or jumppacks), then you can easily walk them off the board in that one round.

Yes that's correct.

The Fantasy boy inserted alot of Fantasy rules into 40K in an attempt to make it better.

In Fantasy you normally don't get run off the table repeatedly because it is (relatively) difficult to do so.

In 40k, it isn't difficult to do at all.

You have all of your analysis done correctly. Kudos.
