Howdy all.

VERY long time no post

Typical as it is with me, just when i need to have lots of stuff painted (sorry not ork stuff) I end up getting a conversion Inspiration!

With my Girlfriend starting up a new Feral Ork Themed 40k army, I was inspired to try my hand at a weird boy

We have had the battle for skull pass box set sitting in the corner of the modelling room for some time now and i remembered seeing the Troll in that box and it gave me an idea.

Anyway a few hours a bit of green stuff and bits box digging later, i was left with this.

Its not 100% finished, Still some mould lines to remove and some cleaning up to do (Gap filling and such). Also im planing on having the power cable from his Stick attached to one of the bits sticking out of his back

Anyway please let me know what you think

Ah yes. Gotta love it!

when I saw the thread title, I was dubious, but it actually looks pretty cool, I might try doing the same with my unused troll, maybe making a warboss.

But I do think he needs a different helmet - that one looks too ... sensible

Nah, I don't think it's a helmet.

More like a metal plate hammered onto his skull to keep his brain in.

Nice work, turbo.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Looks really good.

The right arm is from the ork bikers set isn't it?

I like it, very ape-ish, but it looks appropriate to me for some reason.

Any chance we can get a pic of it next to a standard Ork boy for reference?

Just a quick update. I managed to get a arm from one of the plastic Spawn models. I think it works really well for the whole "Weird" aspect of the model, just to show how much the warp has effected this guy.

And as Requested by Yackface A scale shot, next to my old "Gorkamorka's Champion" model

Hey

Thats a darn good weirdboy you got yourselve. If your starting a feral ork army up i can pass on a cool conversion idea,If you use the stegadon from the lisardmen range you can have a very cool battlewagon or if its fantasy charioty thingy.

It's not supposed to work, yet it does.

I applaud the conversion - now - PAINT!

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

I like this a lot. The spawn arm really does sell it, but I would paint it just like the ork skin, not some other color.
