So 3 killa kans are in a squadron together if I give each of them the Grot rigger upgrade (during the ork shooting phase on a 4+ the immobilize effect is negated) However if a vehicle in a vehicle squadron is immobilized it counts as the destroyed result. So what happens? You shoot the kan and immobilize it resulting in a destruction result the next ork shooting turn will i be able to roll for grot riggers? What happens if I get 4+ and the other kans moved away?

After serving in a 'big gunz' regiment Grots often loose their hearing and have to resort to a rudimentary system of sign language. This is rarely successful as there are only so many signs a Grot can carry.

It's a pointless piece of wargear until GW FAQ's it into something useful.

Lame. Well i suppose it could potentially useful when the other two kans kick the can. (Haha see what I did there?) =P

But then your paying 15 points for essentially one grot rigger. I suppose you could only take it once, since you can kill off the other Kans first, but your rather screwed in assault. Personally, I'd just leave them off any vehicle in a squadron.

I am in NO WAY trying to lose the respect of other forum memebers!

BUT - was this ever clarified?

Otherwise you are having to take 3 seperate single HS choices in order to get to use the Grot?

And does this work the same way for Techmarines/Mekboy using their abilities?

Immobilized vehicles in a squadron die, it's part of taking squadrons. It doesn't matter what you might be able to do later in the game.

Yeah, this thread is pretty old.

But at least we're still talking about 5th edition rules!

Yeah, buying Grot riggers for a squadron of Kans is pretty useless. The only time you'd get to use it is when the Squadron is reduced to its last Kan.

Anyway, locking now as this thread is very old.
