Highlord with a Blackstone Fortress
Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Now a blueshirt said this to me.... so take it with a large pinch of salt.
Pendant of Khaeleth is a ward save, and saves always fail on a 1, even though the write up of the Pendant says it fails on a 6. Thus the Pendant has a 1/3 chance of failing automatically, not a 1/6 chance.
Apparently that is how it was 'envisioned by studio to begin with' *ahem* and will be FAQed. I read into this that studio realise what a nasty and undercosted item this is and are making excuses, assuming the rumour is itself accurate.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. |

Is it ironic that I read the title as Pedant of Khaeleth?

"Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! Slayer of worlds! Felt the power throb in his weapon. He clutched it tightly in his hand and turned towards his foe letting it build in the twin energy spheres and then finally! RELEASE! The throbbing weapon ejaculated burning white fluid over them as Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! laughed manfully!" - From the epic novel, Bloodstorm! Ravenblade! Obliterates! the! According to both Gav Thorpe and the playtesters, there were a lot of changes made between the "final" draft and the printed book.
I'm a little skeptical. How often do they FAQ stuff because it's too powerful?

*cough* Thorek *cough*
The change to once per game still hasn't made it into the FAQ.

Once per game? FAQ?
Explain?

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |

The reroll that Kraggi allows Thorek when striking runes was FAQ'd to once per game at the UK GT, but that ruling hasn't been repeated in the Dwarf FAQ.
An example of FAQing characters deemed to be too powerful.

Hmm. Not a bad way to neuter a $40 model everyone purchased about 3 minutes after reading his new rules.
Seriously though, I'm not sure that a ruling a judge makes in a UK GT is any more likely to be FAQed than a ruling made in a GT anywhere else. I'm not sure the same guys that do GW events do the FAQs.
