I recently decided to break the vicious MEQ cycle and landed on the Orks. But due to recent pay reduction I am way too poor to go out and buy everything I would want for a full list. I started with a looted Wagon, shown below, and wanted to see how it looks, and see what might need some work before phase 2(Warbuggies made from SM Bikes). Please don't hesitate to let me know what you think, as I am looking to end up with a halfway decent finished project.

Also I have a bunch of Tau Bits, Marine Bitz, and a Scatter Laser....
I was wondering about any clever Ideas on Homemade Lootas...Here is the first (hopefully finished) conversion.

Please share Comments and Ideas, and Thanks you for your support

Pretty orky....I however think they frown on what 'oomies would call "enclosed"

I personally think they like all their vehicles to be opened topped is that in enclosed spaces their stink probably even starts to offend the other boyz, and then there is a ruckus, then a fight, and a brawl, and a melee, and then a swirling melee, then a WAAAAGH...

and thats not good for anyone.

Looking pretty good! I think that the metal edges need to look more worn and bashed and nicked, and maybe add a few bullet holes and scratches on the blank faces of the metal and the rhino itself.

For a little fun and added orkiness, I would put a ork-skull shaped piece of metal (like the ones on the tops of the waaaagh banners) over the main cannon. Would act as a nice focal point.

The front of the rhino that has the additional plate seems a little odd to me since the rivets are right in the middle of the plate, and they wouldn't really be gripping on to anything. I would remove those rivets and add them and a few more around the perimeter of that plate would make it feel a bit more interesting and realistic.

I really like the lower jaw / gob shaped piece of metal on the side of the rhino though, looks great and nice touch.

I built this one with and 'ard case upgrade, primarily due to lack of extra boys, I am trying to make this whole project out of a battleforce, and the remnants of a WFB orc regiment box left over from making a Mordheim Warband. as far as the bolts on the front plate, I wated to make things slapdash, and leave the impresison that the insides were Kustomized as well. I originally tryed a turret on top but it didn't look quite right, so it slowly evolved into the Shed with a gun protruding look. I will savage it with a hobby knife to make it look more banged up tonight, assuming my wife hasn't hidden my hobby knives. thanks for the feedback.

For even more orkyness, buy some really thin wood, it has to be easy to cut, and cut them into planks, and stickem on there! thats what I do anyway.

But it looks great as it is!

Sorry. I'm not gonna be a big fanboy here and go along with everyone else.

This doesn't look "Orky" in the least. Not to me, anyway. You have an ok start on Orkifying the Rhino chassis, but you need more than just a plasticard glyph and two plasticard plates on the hull. All you did was glue the "teef" glyph and one of the plates on top of the side hatches. There's more to making something Orky than that.

As for the turret. sorry, no. Aesthetically It's a big-ass block just sitting on top of the hull. It isn't integrated in the least. Functionally, it's just too damned tall and unbalanced to be of any use in a battle.

Sorry bud. This one should go back to the drawing board, in my opinion. You're on to something, to be sure. You just need to re-work this idea.

Personally, I think the lack of integration makes it look orkier.
