Hey guys this is my 3rd or 4th post. And i appreciate everyones help. Well I have a doubles tournament coming up. My team mate is fielding a destroyer based army so i am responsible for scoring units. What do you guys think i can improve on on my list.

plague marines are harder to kill than thousand sons. take them instead. you probably wont need kharn either. hes good in combat but you have no way of getting him there. the berserkers suffter from the same problem, but may draw fire away from your team mates destroyers.

if you drop the 1Ksons and kharn you could pick up 2 squads of 8 plague marines with 2 plasma guns each. those dont budge from objectives. as long as your mate can shoot the enemy of thirs you should be fine.

I dont think you need Kharn the Betrayer, what is he? 200 pts for 5 or 6 strength 4 power weapon attacks that hit on a 2 plus.... he's really not that great, plus he takes up too many points for such a small game. I think you should get another lash prince because if you only have one ur enemies will target him first (becuase he is such a huge threat, with the destroyers) and he will get shot down ez, so its good to have anohter one to back him up

My reasoning was if i can protect kharn in the troop of thousands he can be incredible but thats just me. I'm planning on taking out berserkers and kharn and adding 2 units of 2 plasma 1 asp w/ powerfist.

Thousand sons are very good with space marines which i am planning on seeing a lot.

Also i dont physically have another lash prince.

So new list i have

Lash Prince w/ Wings 155
8 Thousand Sons 184
Asp Sorcerer with doombolt 70
5 Plague Marines w/ 2 Plasma Guns Asp w/ fist 185

779 Total. So i need to trim on things.

Also i completely believe that kharn is the best hand to hand unit in the game.

Initiative 6 on the charge he will almost always attack first

WS 7 Str 6 on the charge 7 attacks on the charge.

2+ to hit. and +2D6 armor penetration.

And a plasma pistol for fun.

Kharn is certainly good, but he can be instantly killed and can difficult to bring into the thickest melee.
And the new IC targeting rules allow to shoot him; this is what smart (lol) players will do.

toku, i think kharn would easily kill skulltaker in combat, 2+ to hit, with a S6 charge, and skulltaker only gets an inv. save, he wouldnt get a hit before getting cut to pieces.

i like the army list, but it could be worth using a rhino rush with the zerkers and kharn, drop them off in the enemy lines and cause trouble.
maybe get rid of the sons and replace them with nurgle units since they are irritating to get rid of.
or maybe your friend should help out more with scoring

They aren't the only good HQ choice.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Well i used a list with only one lash prince. He died only in one game and we placed third.

Yea I'm only 17 so i dont really have that much money to spend on warhammer so i just made do with what i had.

I know everyone thinks that basic CSM suck, but here is something that could do pretty well. Keep in mind if you run cults they will get shot off the board first or second turn by any semi-intelligent player. And I run PM in my lists and they aren't invincible, people know how to kill them.

Rhino w/ Havoc Launcher 50
CSM x10, Plas x2 180

The Sorc rides with the 9 base marines in the havoc rhino. The park on an objective and get out to lash back/bunch up enemies for the havoc launcher and CSM fire. If they get charged by MEQs the Sorc goes first and can tear them up pretty well and can especially kill TMCs. The other two squads park on objectives get out and lay down some plasma and bolter fire. There are 10 points left over so you can give the other two rhinos something nice. Maybe some better guns? I'm not sure on what the uprgrades cost right now. Conversly you could give the CSM squads MoS and make you army comp go up a little.

As a heads up everyone on these boards is going to immediately poo poo this list. You probably will end up not running it.
