havent played in quite a while and only briefly when i did but i decided to come back to playing and hopefully a little more regularly and was hoping to see what other people thought of the list i put together.

HQ-

Lord w/ veil+orb -200

Troops-

Warriorsx10
Warriorsx10

Fast Attack-

Destroyers x4
Destroyers x4
Destroyers x3

Heavy Support-

Heavy Destroyer x3
Heavy Destroyer x3
Monolith

Total Points- 1735

very heavy destroyer list alot of potential firing and mobility from em hopefully hide and bounce warrs with lith/veil to keep em alive or sneak in on objectives late and thats about it lol, simple small army but after looking didnt see too much else i liked by crons and thought this seemed fairly competitive toward alot of armies with the right strategy and dice rolling C&C welcome

This army was quite competitive in the 4th ed. But in the new ed, you need to achieve mission objectives. Two troop squads are a bit less. But it could work if you keep the Warriors out of range (during the first few turns) and let the Destroyers do the work. That could be quite tricky.

I love destroyer Heavy armies. I think they are the best way to play Necrons. If I were you, I would drop the monolith and take more Heavy destroyers and destroyers.

well wuesten that was the hope hide em and hide em well hope the lith can drag em away from bad situations and the veil could help too , as for dropping the lith what i was thinking was that the lith seems to be a great way to help protect the little troops i had by porting em away and adding a second wbb roll to keep em going and screen em from enemy fire and maybe assaults (who wants to charge into a monolith lol) the other hope was it would soak some shots in to save the destroyers i had if they focus on it hopefully without being too lucky it can really save me some headaches of losing alot of destros early, as a side note was curious if anyone knew if a lith when moving (mainly curious for deep strike purposes if i so choose) can use its gauss flux and its particle whip since the whip doesnt seem to be a conventional weapon wasnt sure if it was limited to only using 1 or the other when moving as normal
