Can Archaon be fielded without Dorghar? Because i recently acquired the Archaon on Foot model and its awesome (like a head taller than a Chaos Champion).

I know the Armybook is "illegal" but we are gonna play a huge game at my local gamesite and i would really love to have him with.

He must be mounted on Dorghar, but he can be knocked off of it so that is when the model comes in handy.

Archaon cannot be knocked off his mount any more. Dorghar is only one wound now, so doesn't count as a monstorus mount any more. Archaon just got alot nastier. -K

As did all the rest of the Lords mounted on Daemonic mounts as they all count as Cavalry. As far as I can tell the only two monster mounts left for Chaos are the Manticore and the Chaos Dragon.
