I've got a vague recollection of seeing one posted here ages ago, and since it's an idea I've recently decided to steal I wondered if anyone had any links to the old thread (or pics on a similar topic) for me to draw some inspiration from.

Thanks

To be honest the only seasons based army (unless you want to count Seasons in the Abyss) was Wood Elves. Good luck, maybe osmeone who knows something will actually post it here.

Hmm, maybe it was Wood Elves. I'll be applying the scheme to Eldar but it would still be good to see the models for inspiration so post'em if you've got'em.

I saw this post, and I immediatly though of how cool an army it would be. Use one craftworld for each season, and slightly modify the bases for each season (bright green, regular green, leave strewn, snowy). Assign the CWs like so:
Spring: Biel Tan Aspect Force
Summer: Saim Han Windriders
Fall: Uthwe Black Guardians
Winter: Iyanden Wraith host.

That's a really nice idea, it's slightly different from what I was thinking of though. In my head it's basically a Biel Tan army with different aspects representing different seasons;

Spring would be Striking Scorpions and the Guardians, (with possibly the Dire Avengers) for the greenery in the colour scheme, and because of all the life that begins to scurry around in the spring.

Summer would have Fire Dragons, Swooping Hawks and Shining Spears. They would represent the sun and the clear sky, and in the case of the fire dragons, extreme heat! Colours would be yellow/gold and sky blue.

Autumn would bring the Howling Banshees and the Warp Spiders, who I'd do with a reddy brown colour scheme.

Winter would be for the Dark Reapers and the Wraithguard/lord because of the links with death. They would have a black/dark blue and purple scheme

I'm still working it out in my head which is why I'd like to see other examples, but I may just end up posting some test schemes for people to look at.

I like the idea, I would put the fire dragons for autumn, because of the red/orange colors and sometimes it is pretty hot . Just my opinion.

The blood of the living will flow and their dead shall swell my ranks.

2400pts- Vampire Counts
3000+pts- Bretonnia
3000+pts Dark Eldar
1500pts- Deamon Hunters
