it seems to that the LRC will draw alot of fire and get dropped.

Yea that is the idea. After it delivers my terminators I hope that is draws a lost of fire power because if your shooting at it your not shooting at my other stuff. My other stuff is more of a threat then the LRC.

Of course it might no deliver my terminators but that is the risk you take.

Only Rail Rifles and Meltaguns drop Land Raiders with any regularity AND exist in alot of tournaments.

Monoliths and Vindicators do exist, but are much less popular and not exactly known for accuracy in 5th.

I think it could well be hard. The only issue I see is with a gunline army - you would have half your troops forward, half back shooting - so you would get beaten in a firefight and probably not have enough troops left to finish the job afterwards (especially with no consolidation/sweeping advances).

But I guess this list would be great against any armies walking towards you - you have some nice counter attack

I will deffenatly have to play the list very tight. I just got through playing Tyranid Player. He ran the horde bugs with the Dakka Tyrant and a Winged Tyrant. With some fexs to back it up. I beat him but only by keeping my stuff together. They key is not to let a unit get too far out there otherwise it get isolated and dystroyed very quickly.

Any yes I do think a gunline army will give me some problems. The best thing for me to do is try to get into my opponents line as quickly as possible.
