Hi everyone, this is my first post on these forums and I think you might be able to help me. I'll be participating in the upcoming 'Ard Boyz tounament, and this is the current incarnation of the list I'll be using. One of the main things I wanted to include in this list is my newly acquired vindicare assassin. Other then that, the list is fairly mutable.

I don't have any real experiance with Witch Hunters, and I have the feeling that my current Inquisitor configuration is... less than optimal. Baring in mind that the only other model I have to add to his retinue is an accolyte (though I could perhaps buy another blister before the games) what would you suggest?

As to the rest of the list, a general critique is more then welcome. I'm sure there are plenty of things I could do to hone it to a sharper edge.

A furious charge on a Dreadnought...for what?He is already S10,and I4 is enough to strike earlier than most high-strengh close combat attacks...

Hammerhand cannot give bonus to the lord's force weapon,he is still S3.I can't understand your tactics about him...I think maybe you could give him some real weapon and armor.

I don't know why I thought that gave him a + to WS...

I know Hammerhand wouldn't give him a bonus to his force weapon. My plan was to have him use hammerhand for the majority of the game, using the forceweapon as a multi-wound model killer, however, all things considered, I think I might have been overcompentsating.

His role is going to be as a psychic buffer (psychic hood) and as a way to hold off light infantry or to support my marine squads in close combat. The sage, familiar and penitent are really just ablative wounds to keep the gaurdsman, crusader, chirurgeon and Inquisitor alive.

I've modified the list and reposted it above.

Your army is prety tiny for a 2500 pt army
I would suggest the following
Dont mix and match weapons in the termie squads.
Bulk the termie squads out by a bit, 5 is easy to kill

(requires you drop the assassian who isnt really that good, espically in 2500)

Drop the inquisitor, take a librian instead.
Give the two chars jump packs and run them with the assault squads.

Make the second dread venerable
