Hello all Guys, I would like to know a thing about the Necron Lord.

If I take the scythe upgrade for my lord I can also fire as per Pariah Scythe or I loose the fire option.

I ask that because I've see on the weapon study at the end of the codex that both the Staff and the Warscythe have described the point of fire (number V on the image)

Sorry. No ranges firing option on the Lord's warscythe unlike the pariahs warscythe which does.

It is listed in more detail in the wargear section.

If you take the warscythe upgrade, the lord looses his ranged attacks.

What they said. The Pariah's are specifically listed as having built-in Gauss Blasters. No such luck for the Lord's.

And on that note it really isn't worth the upgrade in alot of peoples opinions.

You're right. Unless the Lord had a destroyer body and hangs with a pack of Wraiths, a Warscythe for a Lord isn't worth a lot.
