I plan to field a small cron list against BT's and like some advice on it.

Deciver

10 Warrior

3 Destroyer
3 Destroyer
3 Destroyer

1 Hvy. Destroyer
1 Hvy. Destroyer

I know I lack troops but I try to stay mobile and get a lot of marines down with the c'tan and destroyers.

but I think vs bt I tend more to the 1st list. Why is it so hard to decide even with the boredom of a cron list

In a 1250 game, I wouldnt expect to make any friends taking a C'tan. But if winning is the only concern then this will do very well.

Quit being a baby, it's in the Dex for a reason.

Aside from that, I wouldn't take one at all, in general, unless it was something like 9 billion points and you could take twelve of them. You'd be better off fielding more troops. Your best bet is to simply try and gun him down, and 2 Liths will give you the best chance of doing that (along with the Immortals... yum!)

the deceiver could be a problem, but aside from that I think that its a great small army... kinda scary

I think I shouldn't use a c'tan at that point level...
so with the 2nd list I'm still undecided:
9 Immotals or 5 destroyer

vs marines wound statistics say destroyer but what do you think. statistics are not everything...

go destroyers all the way, unless there are new rules for one or both of those units. That will let you concentrate some nasty fire on enemy flankers, and they'll have the speed to reposition as well

Destroyers are the way to go. Just remember, take multiple squads, or none at all.
