*No one is riding in the BWs?
*No Shoota Boyz. Orks can shoot now. I would turn one of those trukk units into a 20-mans hoota for riding.
*The Boss is on a bike by himself? Isn't that dangerous?
*One of those BWs may be better off as 3 buggies for the dakka and maneuverability.

I am just a little confused on the tactic with this list, from plain sight.

Just one thing. I dont think that point calculation is right 6 nobs on bikes w/PKs and a painboy only coming in at 340 pts? By my calculation its closer to 500.

That said drop them all together. Pick up 7 warbikerz and a nob with PK and BP for 240.

That frees up another 260 and you can still attach the warboss to the bikers

Also the 4 BShootas on the battlewagons are a bit excessive. You can get more firepower out of a squad of lootas. I don't recall if S5 weapons count as defensive or not, I'll have to look it up later. If they don't then you can fire one at BS2 and S5 thats not going to do piddle. If you are going to take wagons then give them a zzap gun or kannon and let them go to town blasting and rolling on everything (I 100% endorse the deff rolla)

I'm not a fan of deffkoptas or battlewagons unless they are coming to drop off nobz in mega armor. That said play it and see how it does, you might surprise us.

I think that's a fair list.

All I'll say is not to underestimate a warboss on a bike. He has T6 which stop the instant kills from lascannons.

I think bike boss is great in a 'Green tide' list that is avoiding vehicles all together. I never cared for bikes in a Speed Freek army unless it was a full bike list.

That looks pretty solid. Lots of vehicles to force the opponent to choose wisely his tank busting.

Well, that's wrong on a couple of levels.

Firstly, since lascannons are S9 they don't instant kill T5 warbosses anyway.

Secondly, you work out instant death against base toughness ignoring the bike's +1 modifier.

I don't mean to sound snippy, I just wanted to clarify that

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink.

Look At Me im a Standalone warboss- Kill mah Please!
Is what that sounds like to me, I'd Have to agree with LucasLAD here.

It seems like in order to get him into close combat you'd have to move him conservatively and using cover which kind of nullifies the whole "Fast Attack" thinger there. Just an opinion.

Every now and then I speak without thinking apologies.

Can someone clarify "Defensive" weapons? It's S4 or lower correct?

S4 and Lower is correct. Big shootas on Battlewagons are not Defensive weapons.
