I was hoping to get some brainstorming/feedback here about jetbike warlock conversions.

First: heads?

Do we think unhelmeted or helmeted? My first thought was to just go with dire avenger heads, but I'm starting to think that would look kind of silly. MAybe alternate between these guys:

They don't feel super eldar-y though. This is a bit more eldar-y but less badass

or the DA

Second: Capes.

I kind of like the high elf mage cape (he's my farseer) but I can't find it on bwbits/warstore. So how do we feel about:

Third: legs/torso

I couldn't find anything I liked here, everyone had nasty chainmail in the fantasy selection :( What do we think about just using guardian legs/torso? Or maybe DA legs/torso?

Weapons: The most important part! (supposed to be witchblades)

I kind of want them to have huge swords/warhammers and such:

Badass weapons:

http://www.thewarstore.com/product27475.html (Really like this for the offhand)
http://www.thewarstore.com/product27896.html (+ some staff bit)
http://www.thewarstore.com/product33362.html

More reasonable weapons...

http://www.thewarstore.com/product27546.html

Anywho, if you have any suggestions on or not on this list please let me know (later tonight I'm going to try to change the links to pictures, but I'm at work, so now is not the time :0) )

Thanks!

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Heads:

If you want naked heads choose Dark Eldar ones, they have two heads that fit really well with jetbikes, a swept back fan of long hair and a bald head with ponytail.

The Wood elf heads are not flowing correctly, the Empire heads dont look elven at all.

Capes:

The archer cape is what I recommend, not because of its size, but its shape. the curve fits very well on a seated jetbike model. Mount the cloak pins lower on the torso than the model implies and the cloak will flow back horizonatally as if caught in the wind.

Next look at the flowing ribbons from the Empire Wizard set, on the model they flow the wrong way but you can invert them and mount them trailing back from the shoulders

Weapons:

Choose the High Elf dragon greataxe. this has ribbons that flow backwards and will fit very nicely giving an illusion of movement, even more so than the vhariot axe, which is also good.

For witchblades you can do no better than Silver Helm and High Elf archer swords. there are swords covered in runes in gloves hands. Cut them off at the wrist add them to an eldar and add a power box below the hilt. Instant witchblade.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
