I haven't looked at that site in a while. I'd also be interested.

It does look good, but I'd like to get some 'reader reviews' before jumping in.
You cannot buy any of the miniatures (yet) in blisters, so the buy in is a bit higher than I'd like just to 'try it out'.

Try the Lead Adventurer's Forum. There might be some stuff there.

I know that!
I'm looking for 'first hand reviews" of people who have actually already played the game!

Actually, I'm already planning to pickup some stuff for this game, but won't be able to write about it until it gets through shipping and I play a few games.
I did, however, listen to a couple podcasts where they explain the game and play through a demo. It sounds straightforward, with more options than you'd think for a small game.
Also, as the poster points out, it's a fast moving game.

I playtested the game and I like it a lot. Unfortunately, there's no real "fluff" that a game based on Marvel or DC would have. But the rules mechanics are solid and well done. So if you are looking for a rules solid / fluff lite Super's Game, this is a good choice.
I was a Super System fan until this rule set came out.
Unless Super System v3 has something better, I'll be sticking with Pulp City.
The only real drawback, is if you are looking to import Heroes from other systems (ie you want the Incredible Hulk in your game) there are no rules for doing so. This locks you into their heroes. But the current offereing, while few, are nicely done with some decent (yet lite) fluff.
I look forward to seeing all that will be offered 5 years from now.
The models are very nicely done too with decent action poses but not being overly gregarious.

SO there is no 'hero creation' part of the rules?
I'm sure something like that would be abused, but could be self-policed fairly easily as well...

It's a bit like warmachine in that regard. I honestly rather have interesting well designed fixed characters in a wargame than customization that no one will use one the right power combo is discovered.

You have a very good point.
I actually like not having the "create your own Hero" aspect of it. You know what you are up against and not going "oh &*$%, a noob and I don't know what powers he has".
