Warscythe, Destroyer Body, Veil of Darkness Why the veil?! not worth it! get a phylactry and a resorb! .AND Why the scyth? you lose the shooting attack! str5 ap3 assault 3 is very useful since it already is a power weapon! Anything you would want the scyth for you could use a C'Tan for... speaking of which...

The Nightbringer You do know the deciever is better right? Anything that lets you redo your deployment at the end is very good! Not to mention he has some crazy special powers afterwards. Deciever would be my pick

Troops: I like. But 4 squads of 15 is better... but you don't have a resorb... so that weakens the smaller squads... miff... go with the big squads I guess...

The Lord will be running up the field with the Wraiths trying to get into CC asap and being able to teleport across the table seems like a good investment. Also helps with Anti-Tank as the Warscythe gives 2D6+Str to AP.

I don't see the benefit of taking the Deceiver over the Nightbringer. The ability to just blow up in combat killing or wounding everything with no saves allowed seems better than redeployment. Also the bonus of being able to shoot at str 9 ap 2 is a good help.

deciever also will kill anything in CC and also ignores invul saves (see the C'Tan rules)! but with the added bonus of being able to LEAVE if your squads have a good shot at the unit your fighting during your opponents turn

Do you think being able to leave combat on their turn is better than just saying "Gaze of Death" and seeing everything under the template die? I don't know...

They only take a str 4 hit that is a power weapon. AND models not totally covered are hit on a 4+...so yea I think the ability to not get stuck doing something is better then betting you'll win AND be in combat every round.

I am not able to play in the Ard Boyz this year, due to taking the entire weekend prior at the Vegas GT. The list I was going to run was:

Deceiver - 300

The list you are running in bad for several reasons.

Your warriors are dead weight in 5th edition.

wraiths are terrible

destroyers are awesome, but take multiple squads or none at all.

basically, you do not have enough firepower to drop your enemy at long distances. They will close in and own you.

I'm a trend setter. Fun.

I dislike c'tans in general.

Wraiths lose a major ability with the lord, IE, no going through everything.

Looks alright, I guess. I'm looking more into Monoliths+DS'ing Warriors, but whatever.

Meh, destroyers are not quite as awesome as they used to be. The nerf to glancing hits means they are useless against anything higher than AV10 (and should probably be either open-topped and/or a skimmer, too). So what're they good for now? Shooting Troops - and for the points, Immortals do the job just as well and have more wounds in the squad. Yes, the Destroyers have a longer range, but 24" plus 6" move provides a lot better range than most people think.

That, combined with the major buff that Scarabs got - they're now too good to pass up.

Bigger buff: scarabs are jetbikes.

Jetbikes get a 3+ cover save when turbo-boosting.

Dont forget that scarabs have the stealth special rule, which adds plus 1 to cover saves. So Turbo-boosting scarabs have a 2+ cover save.
