Asurmen
Farseer
Doom, Fortune and Guide
Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing, Spirit Stones
2x 10x Dire Avengers
Power Weapon and Shimmershield, Bladestorm and Defend
1x 10x Dire Avengers
2x Catapults, Bladestorm and Defend
Wave Serpent
TL Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines
1x 10x Pathfinders
4x Shining Spears
Skilled Rider, Withdraw, Laser Lance, Shuriken Cannon
3x 2x War Walkers
1x Eldar Missile Launcher, 1x Bright Lance
// 1872
I am not real big on the Anti-tank but I I am also pretty happy with it. I would rather spread out the Bright Lances on each than have one pair with all four.
I was thinking the Farseer goes with the Pathfinders. Gives them ld 10 and they get Scout so he just walks up and joins them. Doom infantry and all the guns wipe it out. Shining Spears for counter-charge. And besides I have never run them before XD.
Any thoughts?
I might paint it Altioc themed.

Well, I'd mount all DA squads in Serpents; otherwise, your fear becomes reality. Three scoring units should suffice. Don't take footsloggers in a mech army, they give the opponent a focus. For this, drop the Pathfinders.
The Shining Spears are out of place if you don't field an Autarch on jetbike with a lance. This squad can be easily overwhelmed in cc, thanks to the new counter-strike rule.
I'd give at least one WW squadron shuricannons or scatterlasers for anti-horde control.

Shining Spears never work the way you want them to.
Mounting everything up is really the way to go, no more fearing heavy bolters. Getting the Bladestorm into range and making full use of it.
Eldrad is a real workhorse in any list, keeping him hiding with the scouts is wasting half of his ability to smash tanks and whatever else he feels like.
Trade the Spears for a warlock squad and mout 'Drad and the locks up...
OR... put some harlies in... they are way better at countercharging.
AND... Brightlances on the Serpents, drop the lances on the WW and add another missle per. Thats 6 blasty templates for some horde control love if ya need it.

Hmm. Good comments. I think maybe it is just a lousy army.
I do not want to run both Asurmen and Eldrad, that is too many points in characters, but he is only 35 points more than the one I have so ...
Asurmen
Eldrad
1x 10x Howling Banshees
Mirrorblades, War Shout, Acrobatic
Wave Serpent
TL Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines
1x 10x Dire Avengers
Power Weapon and Shimmershield
1x 10x Dire Avengers
2x Catapults, Bladestorm and Defend
Wave Serpent
TL Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines
1x 10x Pathfinders
2x 10x Guardians
1x Brightlance
1x 2x Warwalkers
1x Eldar Missile Launcher, 1x Bright Lance
1x 1x Warwalkers (probably flanking)
1x Eldar Missile Launcher, 1x Bright Lance
or 2x Eldar Missile Launcher
// 1841
Eldrad goes with Pathfinders, casts spells on them and the War Walkers. Asurmen and the Guardians make trouble, Wave Serpents fly around.
I like cheap weapons on Wave Serpents. Extra points I can add more Guardians, a Vyper or another War Walker.

I like this second list better, and it looks quite playable with a couple minor tweaks.
The Pathfinders already have a 2+ save in most terrain, and hit just fine. Let them do their own thing. Eldrad will be doing his best up with the Avengers or alongside the advancing Guardians/Walkers, Dooming the enemy and Fortuning Avenger squads that get caught in CC, then Guiding the Walkers/Guardians as a lower priority. PW/SS Avengers are remarkably durable when Fortuned, especially when accompanied by Asurmen. In fact, I'd say the few shots you gain from the dual shuricats on the mounted Exarch are worth less than another PW/SS to go with the Defend power- but that's an old debate with many threads on this forum. YMMV.
The switch to Banshees suits your army better than the Spears would have. Spears do actually work well with Avenger-based armies, but I find that at least 2 units of PW/SS Avengers plus two units of Spears work best. The redundancy really helps keep plans intact, and the sheer volume of fire and laserlance attacks that you can focus on tough opponents will often save your bacon.
I echo the call for purely EMLs on most of the Walkers and Brightlances on at least one of the Serpents. Since you have only two groups of walkers in your revised list, try splitting them into single-walker squads and giving one Walker just brighlances, the others just EMLs. One more KP is very much worth the efficiency that you gain in putting the right sort of shots on the right opponents (as well as splitting enemy anti-light-vehicle-fire).
While the list does fear heavy bolters, decent use of cover (including your Serpents) and Fortune will help with that.
Finally, taking the Guardians just for the brightlances would not be terribly effective- BUT they will bring your shuricat power up to pretty stiff levels. Me, I would prefer another unit of DAs and BLs on the Serpents to Guardians (since the Guardians will often have to run at some point to be effective, cutting your BL power). Try setting it up that way, and see if you like it. It's also more accurate.
Good start, and good luck. Asurmen is way fun to use (Maugan Ra is more fun, though!)

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I like Eldrad in with the Pathfinders because he makes them ld 10. They have Scout he gets a nice 6" up on his Doom bubble. But maybe he is better with the Avengers. I like Doom because of all the S4 shooting and the general lack of Scatter Lasers.
I might put a Fleeting Seer in with the Banshees. I think I will have to play it a few times.

Emboldened Warlock

Id agree heartily with throwing lots of EMLs on the walkers. a guided unit of 3 walkers with 2ML each firing plasmas/kraks will put a world of hurt on anything. Keep the walkers in cover if possible, for that nice 4++
That said, I would get a single 2xBL walker, or some BL on the serpents. With the improvements to vehicles, heavy armour will be making a comeback.

1x 10x Howling Banshees
Mirrorswords, Acrobatic
Wave Serpent

Wave Serpent

1x 6x Pathfinders
2x 10x Guardians
Brightlance
1x 4x Jetbikes (including Warlock)
Singing Spear, Destructor
2x 2x Warwalkers
2x Eldar Missile Launcher
// 1854
I can lose the Destructor and take Embolden, but then a Heavy Flamer is nice for flushing units out of cover, too. Good enough for friendly games.
68 models. Paint-worthy.
I will actually just add to my existing army I think, once I get it finished. That means I am using my cheapo Dire Avengers but that just means I will have to paint them nicely. Banners!

The other option is to run the Farseer with Asurmen's squad or maybe do without the Serpents, period. But I like it how it is.
The Farseer gives Asurmen's squad a re-rollable 2+ and two re-rollable 4++. Heavy Bolters? What Heavy Bolters?
Can Farseers cast spells when they are in the transport? Good reason to leave him out of it. And Asurmen's squad is Fearless.
It's those damn S8 AP3 pie-plates. Grrr. Can't win 'em all, I guess.

Attention-whore that I am I published this on my existing crappy blog I have at blogspot. Here is the final one I would say, and my first 5th ed list, to give the rules 'a go'. I like the mix of T3 4+, T3 Concealed Guardians and mechanized elements.
Yes, I have no life. In case you missed it, Asurmen can switch squads if one is getting shot up too much. In fact, I can now debate the permutations of 2x Shuriken Catapults, Shimmershield, Exarch powers and the only Wave Serpent until the end of time.
Asurmen
1x 10x Dire Avengers
Power Weapon, Shimmershield, Bladestorm, Defend
Farseer
Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing, Fortune, Doom
1x 10x Howling Banshees
Mirrorswords, Acrobatic
Wave Serpent
TL Shuriken Cannons
1x 10x Dire Avengers
2x Shuriken Catapults, Bladestorm, Defend
Wave Serpent
TL Shuriken Cannons
1x 14x Guardians (including Warlock)
Spiritseer, Brightlance, Conceal
1x 6x Swooping Hawks
Sunrifle, Intercept, Skyleap
1x Wraithlord
Wraithsword
2x 2x Warwalkers
2x Eldar Missile Launcher
// 1849, 59 models
w00t. Not to be dramatic but I guess I better get on with painting if I want to buy more stuff.
