Subject: 2,000 Point Nurgle Themed Daemon List

So I've decided to go for a Daemon army as I have alot of models necessary to run a Daemon army and just need to add a few units. Although the entire army will be modeled as Nurgle I will take a few units from other Gods, namely Horrors which will count as mutants with guns, modeled using Ork boyz with Heresy miniatures Blight heads.
HQ
Great Unclean One - 160
Epidemus - 110
Herald of Nurgle - 95
- Palaquin
- Chaos Icon
- Cloud of Flies
Elites
Beasts of Nurgle(3)- 105
Troops
Plaguebearers of Nurgle(15) - 250
- Chaos Icon
Plaguebearers of Nurgle(15) - 250
- Chaos Icon
Nurglings(9) - 117
Horrors(7) - 134
- Bolt of Change
- The Changeling
Horrors(7) - 129
- Bolt of Change
Horrors(7) - 129
- Bolt of Change
Heavy Support
Soul Grinder - 160
- Phlegm
Soul Grinder - 160
- Phlegm
Deamon Prince - 200
- Daemonic Flight
- Mark of Nurgle
- Iron Hide
Total: 1999 points
I'm not too sure how effective this list will be but it allows me to play with alot of stuff I already have and really I just will need to build the Horrors and Heralds and convert 2 spawn to Beasts of Nurgle and build my second Defiler/Soulgrinder and I've got a workable Daemon army that I can run if I get bored with my Death Guard. Even better is that I can run the Horror conversions as mutants for Apocalypse, so everything will be fully interchangeable between the two armies.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games |

Unfortunately, unless all of your models are Nurgle, Epidemius isn't worth taking that much... but I like your idea! Aside from that, I think this list could work well.

Catch me if you can.

I think there's enough Nurgle marked units to justify Epidemus. The DP and GD can rack up some wounds pretty quick and allow the PBs and BoN to have a little more punch when they hit combat.
The wings are already modeled on my DP, so I can't really get around that. Regardless I think the wings are beneficial in this list as it pretty much ensures he will get into combat quickly even if most of the other units take some time.
Breath seems a little too expensive for what it does. I may drop it from the GUO, in fact. It's only an 8'' range meaning that if I can use it I can assault and if I kill too many with it I may very well put myself out of charge range with casualty removal. I think Daemonic Gaze may be a better option than BoC in most cases.
Icons are something I'd like to have more of in the list but I'm going to have to work on trimming down some things to get the points. Probably starting the BoC and Noxious Touch on the Herald.

Epi 's effect only occur once he is on the table so if he's not in the first wave you may be in some trouble.
Seems ok but I'm not a big fan of horrors. I am a fan of bbreath. If you give it to your 1st cohort than, if all goes well, you may be able to get deep into epi's powers on turn 2
