it doesent say in his rules that he cannot be taken in a southlands list.
but that was the small question, bigger one is in his special rules you can take saurus cav. units as core choice, howwoud this work in a southlands list as saurus cav. isnt even an option.

Well it says any army Kroq-Gar is leading must have a least one unit of Saurus Calvary, since CoR can't be taken in Southlands lists I'd say you couldn't take Kroq-Gar.
isnt his army special rule an option?

Army of Kroq-Gar says: Kroq-Gar will always be the army general, even if there is a model with higher Leadership in the army. Any army lead by Kroq-Gar may take Saurus Cavalry as Core unit choices, and the army must include at least one unit of Saurus Cavalry.

ok, i think ill start another army, pure cav. army since i wanna keep my southlands army too.
