Anyone else got a GW packaged bundle of joy thumping on their doormat this saturday?

No. Sadly I must wait until my birthday. Wish I had more money so I could get it early...

My local gaming store is having a trading event for those who only want the marines or the orks. I'm on the list for two sets and so I'll end up with 80 boyz, 20 nobz, 4 warbosses and a dozen deffcoptas. I MIGHT get done painting them by the time the next wave of ork plastics comes out at the beginning of 09. (I'm not a kid, so I really should buy stock in icy hot, 'cause it would be like paying myself for spending too much time painting miniatures.)

No such joy for me, i would love to buy just the orks but i live well out of the way of big cities and very few people are willing to tyrade with me and i lack the funds at the moment, maybe in a month

I could probably find someone to trade with but happily have two chapters of marines on the go so have no problem burying the marine parts in those guys

I'd be up for buying more sprues without all the rule book stuff that comes in the box, if there was a Bitz Barn type equivalent here in the UK?

As for being able to afford it, I didn't think I'd have much luck but work told me on friday that they cocked up my money... Oh no I thought, I hope they don't want any of it back!!! Happily, they cocked up in a good way and in addition to my normal wages next month I should be getting a lump sum of nearly £5k!!!
