You want Cephalyx Mind Slavers & Drudges. They are solid infantry & can kill warriors or warjacks with equal ease. They also can get reach...a perfect fodder/tar pit unit to compliment the Revenants & allow Terminus to get where he needs to go.
Also vital, is they are fearless like undead but still provide soul tokens (which are THE thing that makes Terminus function). Terminus without access to souls is a paperweight. You can hope the enemy has living weenie troops you can kill & harvest, or play it smart & bring some of your own.
The Drudges will either live, & kill stuff (maybe earning souls) or else die....and you still get /their/ souls.
You also need a Skarlock. Some people will tell you Terminus doesn't need Skarlock or arc nodes but that's the way to suck. The Deathjack can partially mitigate this. But the better players will still have at least a Deathripper & always a Skarlock.
The arc node lets you cast his soul gathering spell at whatever you need to cast it at, & also Hellfire (a POW 14 spell that causes fear). T-Bone as we like to call him, also has several good buff spells that you need to be able to apply where needed, preferably double dipping them, throughout a given turn. They are range 6 so that means arc nodes are a huge help.
Skarlock does those things plus casts several of Terminus' best spells for free once a turn. A MUST. It means he can keep casting a buff spell rather than having to waste Focus upkeeping it. Or nail yet another target with Hellfire.
Withershadow Combine are also good, they make your stuff auto-pass any command checks with Terminus (no, a 12 is NOT an atomatic failure). They upkeep another spell for free too. And can kill anything in the game. They do tend to fight you for souls though...so keep them on a flank.
