Where's that sorceror standing? He's getting shot at the first opportunity if he's not with a squad somewhere. There really isn't any independent character rule to hide behind anymore.

It looks like it'd be a good fight against my list, which is similar but uses noisemarine squads in rhinos. Basically on each turn, if I pop one of your rhinos the squad inside would die immediately due to doomsirens and the same goes for any of mine. Once I'm out of my rhinos that you've popped I can expect some marines unloading to gun me down and charge me the next turn.

The raptors look out of place, honestly. You've got enough assaulty stuff in rhinos that I don't think you need a squad out in the open that gives the enemy's anti-infantry guns something to shoot at before your tanks are popped.

It also looks like your landraiders are....empty? Carrying terminators? I think I'd just deepstrike the terminators off the icons in close support to pop tanks and eliminate threats, and take something like predators if a gunboat is what you want. Or more obliterators.

I agree with you about the Sorceror so i dropped the personal icon and added a jump pack so he can run with the Raptors. As for the Raptors being a target for anti-infantry guns i was going to screen them behind the vehicles and possibly use the lash to bring enemies into them. The landraiders double whichever way i need them to, against hordes they will likely transport the termies to use the flamers in the best way possible otherwise they are gunboats but much more suvivable for only 55 more points that a lascannon pred, the price increase really hurt me wanting to take that tank with it only having 11 side armor. The landraiders also make a great screen for the rhinos if i need them to or the rhinos can be a moving screen for the landraiders that now contain the marines when i switch them after deployment. All in all the landraider gives me a lot more options than the preds would. Plus I only have 3 Oblits so thats as many as i'm willing to field And as for noise marines i do fear that doom siren, it's bloody brutal against MEQ's.

The termies have flamers? Looked like plasma and meltax2.

Same boat for me with the oblits, though I just acquired 2 more from a friend.

I switched them around a little bit, decided i needed more horde killing and less MEQ killing so i replaced the combi-plas w/heavy flamers on my termies.

well, 3 terminators are a waste, even if you deep strike them they cant do much, just about every squad in the game could take out 3 terminators (except maybe 10 gaurdsmen, 20 gaurdsmen could do it no problem, heck 20 grots might even be able to kill them off) 69 models for 2500 points isnt a lot, expect to get mobbed, maybe get rid of the combi-meltas and switch them out for combi-flamers, the 2 lashes might be a waste too, expect a fair share of vehicles (especially Armored company there are alot of AC lists being made, now that GW went back and made troop tanks scoring units) The land raiders are going to help alot if the terms. come out of the raiders that might be a help.

The 3 terminators are suicide bombs, they either come out of the landraiders and tap the nearest vehicle/light infantry or they deepstrike and light up the bad bad tanks i might run into.

The lashes are their to bring units into combat range of my MC's and Assaulty squads/raptors/daemons. I think they'll do alright and it's not really that much of an investment for something that could make such a major impact.

As for the AC's tanks being scoring units if it's not in the rules packet online then it's not official and it's not on the rules packet online. Now some people were debating it but unless they re-write the rules packet or put a big post on their website then those tanks can't hold objectives

the only suggestion I have is to get rid of those daemons and get more terminators (or something else...). maybe get two more for those two squads and then add an additional 5-man? just throwing that out there. daemons are unfortunately nothing more than meatshields or tying-up units. its personally my preference to not have meatshield units. If you don't like that idea, then consider getting more raptors, and giving them an icon of nurgle might help too. they'll survive much longer.

if i had to play against it?
break up my nids into a shooty nidzilla theme with a fex or 2 for CC.
plenty of barbed stranglers for max damage.

Well JD that is a lit that could hurt my list. Lot's of mc's and armor penetrating barbed stranglers would hurt. That list will come down to how it's handled against this one as i think Nidzilla is one of the best match-ups for this list.

As for Captain i've got the daemons to hold objectives and flooding combat. Against lightly armored armies they will assault and probably do some damage. Against gun heavy armies they will contest or hold objectives for me. As i said, the termi's are suicide squads so i don't think adding more models to them would be a good idea but that said it is a matter of taste and i took the daemons because it's a unit that can't be shot early and often and gives me some flexibility but i agree that they have been diminished greatly since the last edition of the Chaos Codex.

Thanks guys, keep it coming
