I've been looking for something a little different when I get round to painting my marines and quite like the purple Hawk Lords scheme shown in the back of the codex.

So far, though, I can't find anything about them fluffwise.

Does anyone have any info/links to help me out?

Cheers in advance

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

Thanks gonads - I'll have to look at it later as lexicanum is blocked on my work internet as 'games'

I find it amusing that dakka works fine...

Or Your freedom - It works very well. Basically its a program on your comp that routes all outgoing and incoming traffic through their server, and your work/school cannot block it. It has wasted more of my school time on facebook than anything else

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

The new marine codex has a pic and small blurp about them. As I remember it had something to do with Thunderhawks, but my memory fails me right now.

If I remember rightly they were an entry in a White Dwarf 'design your own chapter' competition in the late 90's, could be wrong though...

Hawk Lords?

I guess...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

The Hawk Lords are a Raven Guard successor chapter. That's about all I know.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

I've seen that said about half a dozen chapters and it never seems to be true.

In the new codex its states they don't use Drop Pods. They perfer Thunderhawks and are so good with them, that other chapters send pilots to train with their Talon Wing.
