Obviously the Characters join the larger units of Grey Hunters and the Packs w/o transports are in the Landraiders. It gives me 4 very hard hitting close combat units. The model count is definitely low but i was curious as to how well you guys thought this would do? Let me know, any feedback is good feedback.

I would be tempted to exchange a GH pack and a LR for a LRC and put a 14 man squad blood pack into it plus the Rune Priest. With new vehicle rule, you have a much greater chance of sending this bad boy squad into the melee. Plus with the new counter attack USR rules Blood Claws are just plain mean (just add a character or WG to boost thier leadership). On a side note combining Ragnar with GK terminators and then putting them in a LRC is also a wicked combination.

Why no other gear? Give him a pistol at least and some decent wargear to make him better in cc.

Your units are fine and have a good amount of anti tank and anti infantry but your cc is lacking due to your charachters having little to no gear to help them. Spring for the wolf lord and all the cc goodies he comes with. Look through your book for some ideas. My 2 cents.

I'm going light on the gear to get more guys. In a normal list i only run 1 HQ even at this point value as i like numbers more than gear.

The battle leaders have the same number of attacks as a lord but one less wound and the bolter just reduces their charge attacks but they'll both be swinging with 5 attacks at ws5 st5 standard with power weapons which should be alright.

The wolfpriest comes pretty well equiped, i guess i could give him the hit on a 3+ always but he's going to most of the time anyway. And as for the priest his force weapon costs 20 more points than a frost blade and with the abundance of Eternal Warriors out there now i decided just to take the staff to stop bad bad psychic powers.
