Subject sums it up, really. I'm playing around with deepstriking Dark Eldar, and I'm curious how the rules pan out. Place the model on the table where you want it to arrive, roll to scatter, then move the appropriate distance. Regular troops and such are on round bases, so pivoting isn't really an issue, but with something as long as a raider, it could make a big difference in avoiding landing on things. The rules don't really address the subject, so I'm assuming you can't pivot, but thought I'd run it by the experts here.

We've played it they can face anyway they want, troops can do it so we let vehicle do the same, the only differenc eis obviously with the mishap table when the opponent does it!

Well, technically with non-vehicle infantry models it doesn't matter as there is no facing. The rules only state that you must "position" the center model as it will be on the table and then roll for scatter. It then goes on to state that there is no further movement except for disembarking passengers. It doesn't state anything about pivotting/facing which in general is not considered to be a movement...though it can only be done in the movement phase.
