I've seen photos of new book coming out by Forge World and it's a painting guide for tanks. I can't remember what it was called, which forum I saw it on and when it's likely to be out. Can anybody help?

FW once again proves itself better at producing quality reading materials than actual models. Even though my painting skills fall into the "ing mediocre" crows I will be getting it, if only for the pretty pictures.

Egads, Germans can't find their way around Europe either It's okay though, our country is small compared to Germany, France and Spain, we're easily forgotten or misplaced. Last week we were in the Baltic in between Lithuania and Latvia

Hah, you don't understand Dutch because whenever you transmit Baantjer or another Dutch TV series you people need subtitles. Flemish is a debauched version of Dutch, you people should really learn to either speak Dutch or French. Preferably the first, makes it easier to annex you back into the fold once the time is right.

I did notice that this book was volume one, so FW could be cranking out more books for xeno races and assorted alien beasties. At least they seem to be more or less neutral when it comes to using the right tools.

You Continental Europeans don't half make it hard for tourists like me when driving around Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, during what we in Britain laughably called 'The Summer' .
How many different languages can you throw into the pot for a 50 mile drive? Belgium just seems like one enormous identity crisis given substance!
Germany is at least consistant and fairly intelligible, unlike Holland/The Netherlands, which feels like every continental European Language thrown in a mixer, and spewed out at the other end into an undecipherable mess, with lots of gutteral throat clearing!

Why can't all you all speak a sensible language, like English?


As for the Book, it's written by Mark Bedford and Phil Stutcinskas, and is available at UK Games Day with limited availability, and will be available for pre-order after the weekend. It's £26.
Bedford's work is OK, but not amazingly inspirational, but Phil is one of the worlds best military modellers, and it's his input I'm looking forward to seeing.
