So, basically, for any shooty or gunline army, how do you expect to counter DoW deployment versus assault marines or stealer shock or ork hordes? Especially with every troop deploying initially?
Tyranids win first turn, 50+ models deployed 19" away, assault range of 19-24", 1st turn assault.
Blood Angels win first turn, 35+ assault marines deployed 19" away, 2nd turn assault.
Orks win first turn, 150+ "stuff" deployed 19" away, 2nd or 3rd turn assault with... 150+ "stuff".
I love my IG list but kinda drawing a big ol' blank on this one.

For this event, I would leave the IG at home. If I did play them though, I would set up the speed bumps of throw away troop squads and back them up with lots of flamers and HB's and 3 hellhounds of course.

Hopefully there will be some impassable terrain to create a "castle" on both sides of the board.

First of all, even with DoW, the closest you have to set up is 23". They set up on the 24" line, you hug the back edge.
Second, if they're spread out across the line, castle in a corner. That way your entire force is facing only half of theirs. This is particularly true when facing horde Nids or Orks.
Third, set up a line of speed-bump units in front of your important ones. Yes, they'll die. But then your opponent will be stuck in front of you within rapid fire range.
Will this win all of the missions? Probably not. In particular the first one will likely end in a draw or slight victory if all goes well - gunline has a tough time with objective missions. But gunline armies can't really expect massacres against just about any army.

Orks could Waaagh on the first turn for an assault, or just ride in trukks.

Depends on the specific gunline; with Guard as an example, I would hope to win first turn and throw a squad or two at 24" to push the enemy back. That flips the whole scenario you described above on its head, and they are walking an extra turn to get to me. If I lost out on deploying first, I would keep the infantry off the board as long as possible using Reserves and let the tanks do their job.

Outflanking becomes a huge issue as well. Conversely, as Flavius said in a previous thread, you could just hold everything in reserve, and walk on turn 1.

Only if a weirdboy rolls the WAAAGH on the power list, a WAAAGH can only happen on turn 2 usually.

Actually I don't think you can as the scenarios #2 and #3 say "deploy all troops and HQ Sources" Not "you can deploy all troops and HQ sources"

The scenario explicitly says that Reserves are permitted, which means you can hold any of your units back, but you'll have to roll for them starting turn 2. Seems pretty clear that you can't bring them on turn 1 with the rest of your army though.

the mission states all instead of 1hq-2troops(which are optional). i read it as can but you can deploy all.

Agreed but it still seems to me that this is pretty well doomed on deployment. You'll kill maybe 40-50 horde models, due to being bunched up and flame templates, and then they'll pile all over you and kill your guys.
Or Death or Glory with fists/bombs blow up your tanks, and then your guys get mobbed and die.
I just don't see any very favorable outcomes when I run the numbers.
