i dont like obliterators overrated the dread will be as far back as possible,but with still being about to shoot its guns.

Chaos dread is not stable at shooting.It is fairly stable in combat.

Then you maximize its shooting when minimize its combat.Just for fun?

Why there is always a big huge termi squad in your list?
One unit can only shoot at one vehicle in a turn.

Toku thats a bit harsh and when you give it a bad rating please, atleast give me advice how to improve iv'e made some changes on dread and termies, i got 100 points left im thinking another cheap dread.

you have no ranged anti-tank, which means that in the first couple of turns against a mech army you will lose to vehicles. dreads are bad. they will shoot you in the back (with a plasma cannon that you get no FNP from no less!) or run forward and do nothing 1/3 of the time. not only that, you say it will be hanging at the back and yet you have given it a heavy flamer?

the terminators need a special weapon and some fists.

typhus is very exspansive for what he is, and since he is foot slogging he will do next to nothing.

i give it a 4.

also stop editing the orignal post so people can actually see what youve written.

i would suggest dropping the dread and getting 3 more rhinos mechanized nurgle is great
and if you do that take melta not plasma

rofl is it that bad can some please give me a better list based around plague marines?

i thought dreadnoughts as its deathguard,but all ive had is dread will shoot you in the back etc.

i have 100 points left over il include 2 more rhinos and give the termies some fists and a reaper.

I thought foot slogging plague marines work well obviously not lol, so rhinos to get them close enought then dismebark and rapid fire lol.

Thanks for advice guys,i am a bit disapointed i thought this army be atleast a 6,im new to deathguard so some tips would be helpfull.

Also should i include dread or not?i want to keep to deathguard fluff but i could trade it for a vindicator or something?and you do get FNP for plasma cannon str 7 not str 8!

Well,you hate oblits,so just not take them.To force yourself to bring units you dislike may ruin your game feeling.

And you love dreads.So I won't suggest you to drop them,but suggest you try to...take 2 or 3 of them.(And drop all the guns on them,except for skorchas)

also, the new FNP rule doesn't work against AP2 or better weapons so no FNP against plasma :(

Don't see why vindies are against fluff as I would drop dreads for them but if you really want to use dreads then use 2 or 3 and give them CC weapons and charge/run them forward

get 2, preferably 3, vindicators as heavy support since you wont take oblits.

Im not sure 2 vindicators is RATHER deadly but without the rhinos will i been able to get to my enemy quick enought,to use meltas etc.

Give the Vindis posession, if you take them at all. The termies will get lit, if I take termies, I plan on taking a LR. Drop all the plasma, get meltas, and then drop one of the PM squads for a LR. That gives you a powerful mech wing, and a substantial foot wing. Also, get PF for the Chumps. Power weapons aren't as good because of the I disadvantage.

lol im tryna find the points for demonic possesion.

Also 21 troops aka 3 troop choices in 1500, il think il pass.

My opponet will either shoot the advancing termies,plague marines,vindicators and focus most of his fire on it to destroy them. either shoot plague marines,kill most of them or termies killing them, or shoot the advancing vindicators which will blow all his infantry up on the turn.

The enemy will have a very hard time killing 3 units of T5 FNP troops, especially with the Vindis breathing down their neck. Believe me; my friend plays 2 Vindis at 1750 points, and still then I'm hard pressed to ignore them. If you get a LR for the Termies, you'll have 3 imposing tanks and 3 hardy infantry units. I think that's your best bet.

Typhus and termies in the raider go up the middle with the plague marines footslogging behind,the vindicators move up the wing, the termies have no anti-tank but are meant to tackle loyalist termies etc. The land raider should take care of any tanks for the terminators.

rhino rush your plague marines with plasma, take a daemon
prince with wings and mark of nurgle and nurgle's rot instead of typhus, deepstrike the termies on there own and watch them support whats weak (holeplugger) take the dreadnought with lascannon and missle launcher

this gives you a hardcore list which is nigh impossible to destroy in anhilliation, in take and control you can play defencively or offencively depending on the opponent and is fast enough to get to every objective plus is themed enough with the daemon prince leading his old strike force back when he was a normal space marine and was a captain for the death guard primarch

this is what i would do if i played deathguard and it seems to work with what you want to play

p.s i forgot to write this your army can shoot horde armies to death with bolters and nurgle's rot as well as taking on elite armies with all the plasma and the dreadnought can take out tanks effectively enough

Everyone else says if you take typhus put him in a LR, now i take him im told not to take him, im not too not take the dread with missle launcher,lascannon and now take it!

Il see what other people say,cause now im getting mixed advice and il see what some others think.

Why would you ever pick a chaos dread? for 105 points you get a predator with a twin linked lascannon.
