Here is an Ork list. I am open to suggestions, for example replacing the 'Ard Boyz with a Nobz squad or other. Including something in a Battlewagon. Note that if it is led by a Mek I would give it a Mek-feel to it. I prefer a Warboss feel.

Comes to 1973. I would like to shave it down to 1850. I probably over did it on the Battlewagon and the anti-tank. I would not mind replacing the Warboss with a SAG and replacing the 'Ard Boyz with normal boyz. I want some kind of official looking HQ, even it is a squad leader like say a Slugga Boyz Nob controlling the Warphead. I am not really using the Warboss's Troop Nob. I could make the Dred Troop with a Big Mek and put in another heavy like say more Kans. The Kans! haha.

The other option is a SAG pill boxed inside a shooty Battlewagon, itself inside a bunker. I can hear the maniacal laughing from here.

Either way I think I have a pretty good army here.

Warphead + Powerklaw Sluggas.
Shootas and Grotzookas.
Lootas and TL Rokkits.
And some armour. Plently of anti-infantry shooting.

why is it 1850 pts? whats wrong with good old fashioned 1500 or 2000? all these in between numbers scare me. its gotta be rounded up.

Looks solid but I see the non-walker vehicles as somewhat out of place. I think the buggies need to be tethered to your foot slogging KFF Mek or they aren't getting a cover save and that means they are too tempting of a target. They feel out of place along with the wagon which is vulnerable to assault. I'd just keep everything on foot. Maybe put in another Kanz unit to screen your boyz and possibly another KFF to make sure everything gets cover. If you don't feel the second KFF is necessary then perhaps use Zogwort if you can afford him instead of a vanilla warp-head.

But yeah the Killa Kanz + KFF + Footslogging Mob with everyone getting 4 up cover strategy is a winner.


S.J I think people post 1750 and 1850 point lists because those are typical tournament point totals. The recent GT was 1750.
