This is a variation of a list i have posted a few times on here. It includes eldrad with a farseer and jetlock council. 5 psychic powers a turn is pretty sick.

This list is 2434
That leaves me 66 points left over. I was thinking of either adding a 3 man jetbike squad and loosing doom and spirit stones on the farseer to attach a warlock to the squad with embolden. This makes a good hide until i need it scoring unit that can still go tank hunting in the kill point scenario.
Its either that or just get another 2 warlocks in the jetseer council for with points left over to add some destructors to the jetlocks. Or keep doom on the farseer and just get one more jetlock and give him and a buddy destructor.
I just dont know if 3 troops is enough to win the first mission even with eldrad doing his best to keep them alive.

Wave Serpents should have Bright Lances.

Do not need 6 fire dragons, do not need tank hunters, and the exarch (if you bring one) should have a dragon's breath flamer and crack shot. It really is "the uber" and makes the unit semi-dangerous to hordes instead of giggle-inducing to hordes.

Not sure about Banshees myself. Harlequins are a great threat unit where Banshees are not.

This is probably true, but i like the missle launchers and shuriken cannon because i still have a str 8 shot and 3 str 6 against medium vehicles. Great for taking out transports which there are sure to be a lot of because they dont give up kill points. I have 2 and 2. A fair balance, but you still might be right about the lances. I just feel against horde armies that its nice to have a good option for your serpents to shoot at.

This is a great idea. I am defintly going to do this. As far as not having tank hunters I believe that if you have 8 Fire Dragons you dont need it. If you have 6 or less than you do because with the vehicle damage table the way it is for each pen you only have a 50/50 shot to kill it and with 6 you probably only getting 1-2 if you are at 6-12 and 2+ if you are close. which is not guaranteed. But if you have tank hunters you alway have 2+ pens even far away.(Using av 12 as base line)I guess the points could go towards another fire dragon, but i think that it you either need 6 with the ability or 8 without. And its 17 points cheaper with it.

I was actually thinking about this as well myself. But I still think that banshees cause more power weapon wounds against meqs than harli's, always get to strike first(not usually an issue but nice when taking on slanesh), and can get a transport. Plus they are cheaper per model and they really are a kill your points back and throw away unit, while i use your serpent to contest.

I belive that there are times in every game when you need something dead to change the outcome of the game. Using things like doom and bladestorm and fortune and defend I can sway these key matchups in my favor. Also the shimmershield gives me that fortuned 5+ that i dont have because i am taking banshees instead of harliquins.

But stelek, what do you think about the extra points? Buff up seer council or add cheap scoring unit or add scoring unit that hunts tanks?

Thanks for the impute very much. I am going to see how much more i can fit in not taking exarchs and playtest to see which one works better.

The Banshees won't do much. You have one dedicated-CC unit that can't charge out of the transport. Get more pop-out-and gun units, and drop the Banshees.
