Hello all.

I am making a small unit of deathwatch marines and noticed that a Captain I'm planning to use in it, already has his deathwatch shoulder pad. Unfortunately, I put the pad on the wrong shoulder .

So, my question is, does anyone know of a way to remove a shoulder pad from a space marine without destroying it?

I'd like it to be on the correct side and ripping it off doesn't seem like an effective option in this case.

If your careful, you can place a blade edge under the pad, and wiggle it up. When you think you're about half way up, give it a good torque, it should pop it right off.

Didn't you learn anything from that guy in church? Captain Whatshisname?

Do you have a GW sculpting tool? If so, use the small angled flat end and just place it right under the shoulder pad, and it should just pop off with a little leverage.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Removing the shoulder pad from the shoulder is easy, getting the arm out is more difficult. You may need to severa the arm at the base of the shoulderpad and sever a new opposite arm to fit on the stump.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Superglue or Plastic? If its a metal part, use simple green as this will dissolve the glue with no chance of a break.

If its plastic, the posts above are good.
