Perhaps flesh out the FD's?

Seems like quite a daunting list really. 7 hulls, difficult/impossible to kill with melta.

Upgrade one of your dragon's to an exarch with tank hunters and crack shot (let him keep his normal melta)

Upgrade the other dragon unit to give them an exarch with the heavy flamer.

44 points total, and now you can blast tanks that have popped smoke without worries and smoke out covered infantry with ease.

Well, you have 2 scoring units. They are very vulnerable as they are footslogging; better mount them into Serpents.
For this, drop one FD squad and for the remaining points add another Serpent.

Wuestenfux, I think he has 4 wave serpents (so 2 for the dire avenger teams and 2 for the fire dragon teams)

As for advice on the list ... I would upgrade one of the fire dragons in each squad to an exarch and give him the Dragon's Breath Flamer and Crack Shot. This way the fire dragons won't be totally wasted against any footslogging army (ork horde comes to mind).

Well, indeed, there are 4 Serpents. Makes sense. FD or DA Exarchs is the way to go. Personal preference here.

hmm interesting people suggesting FD exarch's with flamer templates. Is 3 pie plates, 2 small blasts and 2 cannons, and 20 DA shuricannons not enough!
Further putting a flamer in there takes down the number of melta's to 4 which would seem less than adequate for blowing away tac marines. There is plenty of anti-tank here, x2 BL and x3 prism cannons.

Any arguments against beefing up the FD's then? I guess bladestorming exarch's to the DA's is possible but like i said there is so much anti-horde firepower here that it seems a bit redundant....

Another possibility is a second Autarch for an Autarch bomb list with everything in reserve...

that autarch should probably give up on any aspirations of fighting with the big boys. He should just have a fusion gun and drop him in with fire dragons...

dragon's breath isn't there for "generic" infantry kill...

pathfinders, space marine scouts, scarab swarms, ork bikers, nob bikers, kroot, chameleoline guard that is going to go to ground for anything you shoot at them.

The things that traditional shooting doesn't kill. Its either templates or in some cases assault to counter these threats.

With 45 points plus, he could add that flamer exarch to one of the units, keeping 5 meltas, and possibly upgrade the other 5 man unit to a flamer wielding exarch, with the additin of the autarch to that unit, it still keeps its tank killing status.
