News spotted on The Miniatures Page.

There are various zombie ranges available already from a number of companies.

These look nicely posed and well detailed.

The world needs more high quality zombie figures.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

Agreed.

What we do NOT need, however, is more naked Zombie FLASHER miniatures.

(Bottom right corner)

I was going to look into getting these until I saw that one. I don't need to explain to my young daughter why that zombie has his Pepe' hanging out.

Good call. One can hardly imagine the terrible, terrible long-term consequences if that young girl ever saw a pin-head sized set of genitals on a pewter minature roughly the size double-A battery. Why, she might even realize that boys and girls are different.

YEARS OF THERAPY.

Well, I'll make you a deal.
You raise YOUR kids how YOU want, and I'll raise MINE how *I* want.

Knowing the difference between boys and girls doesn't mean that, as a responsible parent, I need to have anything that indicates that it's entertaining to expose yourself so flagrantly or depict it in such a manner... No, by the way. I'm not referring to pieces of ART, like Michelangelo's David, for example. I'm talking about TOYS.

Forgive me for my conservatism... Nah. On second thought, DON'T. I take it back. I -unapologetically- like my conservatism just the way it is.

First child at age thirteen, second at fifteen. Crippling fear of chalk. Four marraiges, two of them simultaneous. Lastest husband is a unemployed drywaller and OT3 named Yahweh Osiris Washington, currently serving six months for indecent exposure. Prohibited from owning animals in the state of Oregon. Formerly addicted to meth but now huffing shoe polish due to lower cost. Still sleeps with entire head under covers.

All because of pewter zombie dong.

Thanks for that info Triggerbaby. MagikalMemories style conservatism seems quite necessary now I know the full dangers.

Nice zombies by the way.

Resin has more detail, so the consequences will be much worse.

I was beginning to think you were just an ignorant jerk until I read these posts and see that you actually DO realize the dangers.

I feel better about it, now.

Sorry if I came off as rude, but I can get passionate when talking about something so dangerous. After all, tiny zombie dongs are the leading cause of both canine distemper and topsoil erosion.

I hear that there is a very good topical ointment for that. Its made out of marmoset urine, but then again so are many posts on this site that emanate from people who lack a sense of humor.

There are also many posts that emanate from people who think they have a sense of humor, but just come off as ignorant. The man has a standard for how he raises his kids, why bemoan that?

Really, why would anyone even consider modeling zombie sausages? That's one sick puppy.

Point taken as it is all subjective.
As for being one sick puppy, that is also subjective. Perhaps the sculptor wishes to display realism of a non gratuitous nature in his model as opposed to the complete lack of realism seen predominately in nearly every other game model? Perhaps that sculptor wished to go against the grain and thus profit by selling to a consumer base that isn't hung up by the display of resin wieners? There are many possibilities, including being 'one sick puppy'.

Its rather hypocritical how tender sensitivities aren't offended by unliving and rotting flesh reanimated to devour the living, and yet a wiener gets all the attention. The double standard displayed in this thread is astounding.

But I doubt a person who has the user name of "Rated G" would understand that, as that user name probably enjoys and fully endorses censorship in all forms of expression.
You may now put me on ignore as undoubtedly such a person as I would be quite horrible for a person such as yourself to be subjected to. Blinders are about the only way one can go through life and still maintain a 'G' Rating.

Personally I buy miniatures to have a good time painting them, I do not consider having a good time painting a zombi penis... Has nothing to do with my hobby and like in everything I have limits.

As for "parental control" everyone has a point since everyone is diferent... I dont see any good reason on showing to my son this kind of stuff... everyday everywere kids are bombarded with dubious contents and thats the reason they loose their inocence so damn soon... every age is to be enjoyed and not rushed. With that said if i had to choose between showing this or not i choose not.

Its a inocent resin miniature but theres better stuff and less provocative minis outhere to choose from...You can tease me for my decisions and judgement but whats the point? that kind of teasing is very imature and i tend to ignore imature people.

It´s a resin miniature so I´ll bet that it´s wee wee won´t last the first rough handling causing traumatic distress to it´s owner and quite a few sniggers to the public when he (or even better she ) tries to fix the disaster.

Great. It's polish sausage day at the cafeteria, and now I can't enjoy it.

Technically this thread is on-topic, but I don't want to be known as "the mod who allowed the zombie dong thread to continue."

(But I know you'll all keep thinking about it. Admit it. Some of you may even make it your avatar.)
