It's specifically prohibited in the vice versa situation (for good reason, imagine move 6" embark, transport moves 12", disembark 2").

But what about the title? Can a unit hop out of a landraider and then walk over and jump into a rhino?

Well the wording say "May not voluntarily both embark and disembark in the same player turn" which suggests either way cannot be done.

And he answered. Units cannot embark and disembark in the same turn. It doesn't say then, it says And.

Yes, it says "and". It also says you cannot do both in the same turn................... I mean, think about it, if it said OR that would mean you could never do either one.

its why battlewagons and such can be soo much fun.

embark, move 13", tank shock, get death or gloried, do 2d6 str 10 hits, be forced to disembark because it was destroyed, shoot the unit that broke it, then assault them for good measure

good times

When they say A and B that does not mean:

You cannot do A and B in this order,
You can do B and A in this order.
